Hubby has been buying tech at car boot sales, fixing them and selling them on ebay for very little outlay. He's learned how to fix Xbox 360s and sold them on. He also bids on old PCs and other tech, builds new machines and sells them for between £60-£100 each. He managed to make £200 just selling old bits and bobs his Dad gave him, including an old Atari computer.

Jimmy Choo bags, tags and boxes also sell well. So do Tiffany things.

Put up my first empty box and with a day left, my Ipad box has a bid of £1.50 on it. Might have to look out my old iPhone boxes! The laptop I'm using just now is on deaths door, a screen hinge broken, charger port doesn't work (swap batteries with an old Acer laptop that sits in the kitchen lol) but noticed one the exact same that doesn't even turn on, with a day left on ebay has a bid of £31 + £10 P&P! Will keep an eye on it.

I have recently sold an old butter wrapper! Admittedly, it was a 'national butter' wartime rationing relic but still!

If you'd taken a decent scan of it you could have also sold the pic for making dolls house miniatures. :)

What always worries me about people who buy old Pandora boxes, bags etc or, in fact, any high end wrapping, is that they will resell some fake tat and pass it off as genuine because it has the bag/box!!
    Maybe I'm just a cynic?
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I bought a jar of buttons to do some crafts with my daughter in a charity shop once but pulled one separate as it was so gorgeous. Kept it for awhile then sold it on ebay. Turns out it was collectable when I put it on ebay it went for over a tenner.
