Help in how to improve my wifi signal

I thought you said you were on channel 11?
If you've now selected channel 4, then yes - stay on that and leave the 2 boxes unticked. If things don't improve you can still change channel again.0 -
Ok now but i still don't understand why it it set to channel "4+8". hmm....
and what i noticed is when i go back to my room the signal is still weak (1 out of 3 bars). is this normal you think?
i still can connect though.0 -
Switch off channel bonding, it's using 2 channels at present, which does tend to cause more interference. both to you and your neighbours. No free lunch, and no free laptop

how do i switch off this channel bonding?
and would you at least say that what i have done is correct i.e. set my channel to where there are very few or no users?
even if the signal strength in my room still say 1 out of 3 (as showing on my Galaxy Tab) would that mean its still "ok"?0 -
It should be an option somewhere in the wireless settings, suggest you check in the manual. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Yes, that channel setting seems best. But setting an uncluttered channel won't on it's own boost a weak signal. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Did you try repositioning the wifi aerial? (May not help, but costs nothing to try).0
