I asked my dad to make a wishing well for me, But with everything thats happend this year theres not been the time, I have found Garden ones in Poundstretcher reduced to £14 and he is going to make me a lid

i brought one from ebay- just a plain box as i was going to decorate it-
i decided against it and ended up just having a pressie/card table in the reception- and at 10pm me, best man and groom took al the pressies and cards up to my room for safekeeping
althoughi really love the royal mail box idea- but couldnt find one for under 40quid so decided against itIs a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

a hassle but it would probably retain its resale value

lol Yeah just keeps the cards safe and in one place,at my mums wedding the cards were read out but she didnt have loads of people for the meal just very close family so werent loads to read out,on the evening u invite so many more people so best to go somewhere safe then u can sort through them when ready,plus if they have vouchers/money in u definetly dont want them lying around

I've been meaning to post on here for a while relating to this - we bought an american mail box for ours and i'm planning to put it on ebay soon, but i thought i'd offer it on here first. It's a silver metal standard american mail box, i can take a picture if you're interested. We cleaned it before use and it was in pretty good nick, looked amazing on the day!
