Hi, yes, also think the colortrend is a step forward albeit never tried it myself :o (not sure am supposed to admit that...)

Nothing so strange as folk, eh? For the last couple of years I've admired a local rep, who gets on really well with her ex-OH (all 'rough diamonds') or so I thought.... Turns out nothing could be further from the truth - list of problems is endless.... No-one knows what goes on behind closed doors!

Lol I hardly ever use make-up so I always have to blag it when customers ask advice! Though I'm fine if they ask about face products, or body lotions etc as I've tried pretty much all the products from the different ranges, when you look at the bathroom the only things that aren't Avon is the toothpaste lol

I have to do a lot of blagging as well, I can't use a lot of the products as I have reactions to them. I try the freebies/samples myself now before I buy full sized stuff. Having said that I used a facemask the other day for maybe the third time and had a reaction to it whereas previously it was no problem!

With DD being in a brace, needing to get all her stuff together for starting secondary school in September, and me trying to have a good clear out before starting back at my voluntary job in September/October (looking at the possibility of doing an Open Uni course which would need me working 5+ hours in a classroom) and basically I'm sick of drowning in stuff, I've decided to skip this a campaign as far as customers go. I'll still be placing an order for stuff (I'm buying Xmas pressies :D) but just cutting back on the time I'll be doing. Also means I can gather all the samples together and I'm going to put them in a basket on the staffroom table to try and encourage some orders ;)

I'll also be doing a massive return again, I had someone order £30+ worth of showergels and the like then cancel it, add that to perfumes I bought with the intention of selling at a discount which I've not had the chance to do as DD broke her knee the following weekend and I think I'm looking at another £150 worth of returns. I need the money so can't afford to have the stock sitting around :(

I really need to find a different job, preferably one that pays enough so I won't be taking a pay-cut due to expenses! I might as well look at studying & more qualifications instead of work as ATM there's just no work unless I want to join an agency and I can't afford the travel costs since I'd have to rely on public transport :(

Things just keep getting better. I've had a £60 order cancelled tonight. :( Nothing in it I can keep as stock as its all underwear or clearance stuff :( That uni course is looking better and better :(

Aww nicki thats rubbish - I've had a few orders lately that I've been unable to deliver so have lost customers as a result. I can only say - at least you know it's been cancelled and you haven't got to feel like you need to try chasing after them to get it delivered, not much consultation I know. Hopefully things will get for you - hope LO is better. Maybe try some of the things I suggested on the previous page for saving you some time - ive felt much better about doing Avon since it stopped taking me quite as long.

I've found one in c14, page 136, code 24265, silky moisture replenishing hand cream hopefully that's the one you're after :)

Thanks Lozza, that's the one. Hadn't thought of looking ahead as I'm still on C13, so only checked backwards!

    Thanks again

Just catching up with the thread since my hols. Have to agree with a page or so back that I have also only ever lost one customer to internet ordering and I only have one customer that emails (but not orders).

Have half a dozen boxes or so in front of my settee which arrived last week whilst we were away and still need checking off. Been getting really positive about the Christmas range for this year, which is a good sign as I'm a pessimist! Will 'have' to order myself some goodies - just for research and demonstrating you understand. Only item I haven't seen yet is a Christmassy brooch or necklace or charm. Hopefully that will come in the next HT.

Edit: Talking of the new Colortrend range, I have tried the mascara and I preferred it to the supershock which was too heavy although the navy extreme is my current favourite. Another one here who doesn't wear much makeup except perhaps mascara, eyeliner and a light lippy.
