Any reason not to buy from play.com (which says they have stock currently) and simply return it if the price doesn't drop?
Chasing a supplier who's already dropped the price seems nearly impossible...

You'll be charged for return postage. Do they have some kind of price promise then?0 -

People who have ordered Pre 3's from the Palm euro store have received this email:"Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting the Palm Store Customer Service.
Please be advised that HP are planning to announce a price reduction for Palm Pre 3 today or tomorrow. We are holding off all shipments to enable us to pass that price reduction on to you. The price reduction is very significant ( over 60% saving ) and the new price will be around £100.
We expect to get the clearance on the price today and will ship units tomorrow for delivery by the end of the week. Also the price difference will be refunded accordingly.
Should you have any further questions or concerns please let me know. I will be happy to assist you further.
The Palm Store Customer Service thanks you for the opportunity to assist you and hopes to have been of assistance.
Kind Regards,
Palm Store Customer Service Representative"0 -
Great, I ordered one like that when the Dixons PR guy said on Twitter they would refund the difference. It was a safe bet because you can simply send it straight back otherwise.
Yeah that's what I've done too, I've got a 32gb and 16gb on the way from Dixons. Bought them at full price before the rush after the PR guy suggested the refund.
I've emailed their customer support asking what the details are but haven't heard anything back yet.0 -
