I surrender, It's been a long day and I havent eaten anything since this morning as i've been rushing around and checking on here. I have resigned myself to the fact i'm just not gonna get a touchpad. Off to have a bath and feel sad!

Click on my basket and start again...the stuff you entered should be remembered (unless it is card details) so you can just click continue when the page has loaded so you get through quickly.

Had zero luck with reservations - PC World refused to sell at the reduced online price, as did Comet, even though I showed them screenshots. In the end I picked up a 16GB one from Comet in the hopes of getting them to refund the difference. If not then it's going back. tbh I bought it mainly cos I just wanted the satisfaction of walking away with one after making a wasted journey to PC World previously.

There's some very shifty stuff going on though. At PC World the reservation showed up as mysteriously "cancelled", and though they eventually found one of the two touch pads, the other one was nowhere to be seen.

At Comet, they insisted the online price was £349. When I told them that it changed to £89 when you add it to the basket they went away and a bunch of them had a *long* conversation about it over one of their PCs. Then one came back to me and said "sorry, it must've been a bug when it came up as £89 for you". Yet while I was paying for it at full price I overheard two of them having a conversation about what an amazing bargain it was at £89. Pffft!

It's always the same with these things; you start off really motivated about getting a bargain and in the end just end up getting pee-ed off with the run around you get.
