Just a word of warning regards Currys. Reserved 2 and went down to collect. Staff claimed there was no sign of my reservation, when i explained that i booked two and the price had come down they looked shocked. Anyways after a staff group huddle and lots of frantic to-ing and frowing to different PCs dotted around the shop a staff member eventually came back and said they found 1 which we could have. I explained id reserved 2 but they were adament that they could only sell me one. I know for a fact that they were on there system cancelling orders and rebooking for themselves. As two of them went to the PC behind me and where bent over the PC muttering whilst one hid the screen from view.
Yes whilst I appreciate that I got one, but that I suspect was to apease me. This is disgracefull practice and I hope it doesnt happen to anybody else on here. Btw its the Currys Store in Darlington two staff members of the management team known as Mickey and Terry.0 -
Ah wow!!! What time did you logon?
Been trying for about two hours...once you get to the checkout it will time out but keep at it, because once you put your details in it will remember them next time you get to that page...allowing you to slowly get further on and then eventually sneak through before the server goes down again.0 -
how long were people waiting on the 30 second page? anyone get past it?0
