Another example of Rip-Off Britain
The "free" upgrade costs you £11 (US$21) in shipping and handling costs..........in the USA, it's US$10.

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -

I know. Its not fair is it!0 -
do you really need to upgrade to vista the chance are some of your existing applications wont work and probably your printer or scanner will not work because the manufacturers will not have developed new drivers0

well it is free what do you want free postage as well ??? if you prefer you could fly to usa and pick it up then that way it would be free
ive took the FREE upgrade and am more than happy to pay the £11 shipping and handling costs have you seen how much vista costs in first place????0 -
Atleast with Dell its £11 , I just got a new Toshba laptop and they want £17 delivery for the vista upgrade, but I suppose its better than £200+ for the retail version0

I bought a Dell computer 3 weeks ago.My Vista costs £11 plus £26 ! and there is a page you can go on to see what programs that are on your computer that might not work,on my computer there are loads.
I have not ordered it.I will wait 12-18 months so they can fix all the problems that will come with it0 -

It doesn't cost £11 to send a CD from Reading (which is where it will be shipped from).
Also, this is an UPGRADE CD so you're not comparing like for like. You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
