I have still had no info back from mattel yet I'll wait till mid week and if they still have not emailed me back I'll give them a call.

i got one and managed to get some photos on it, and a couple of songs, but it keeps flashing a white screen or just not quite switching on (black screen with a line blipping on and off).... have changed the batteries twice and then kinda just given up on it already!!

I got a reply from mattel ,although it is not very helpful (see below),
I have emailed them back again to say they are being sold in Argos and that maybe they should not allow a shop to sell their product when you can't obtain the media chips to play on it.
Here's the email they sent me
Thank you for contacting Mattel UK Ltd.

On this occasion we are unable to help with your enquiry. The juicebox
has been discontinued and we no longer have the media chips available or
have stockists who have them. We are sorry we cannot help on this
occasion.

not holding out much hope though,so looks like ebay then,
there is more for sale in america,I have asked one seller in usa how much postage is and he says he can send upto 12 chips for $6.50 P+P,the price of his chips are $2-$8 each and he has music(couple of years old music) ,kids next door,my scene(jammin in jamaca),johnny bravo,a day with drake bell(who's from a prog called drake and josh,which is on satelite kids channel),courage the cowardly dog,good times with carey hart(no idea),ashley simpson biography and a couple of overs.

Hi what is the sellers ebay ID? I have also just emailed Mattel but i wont hold my breath then. I got one from Argos this week and i managed to get 2 chips Ed, Edd and Eddie and a Yu Gi Oh one and i have managed to reserve 2 in Argos in Cambridge - long drive but i guess i have no choice if the thing will be useless without them. My hubby has also read up on adapting them and i will let you know what he finds out but it looks like you cant do much with it. Also i did look on .com evil bay but it looks like they are mostly music ones and ive never heard of the artists. Lisa
