Tesco Direct - a small warning
Comments
-
frankly you are an idiot if you purchase an item with a high retail price and instead of shopping around rely on the company selling the products price comparisons! They are always going to make out they are offering a better deal than anyone else.
Harshly expressed, but the gist of your comment is entirely fair and reasonable.0 -
What I find so funny about those labels is the way they proudly trumpet the Tesco price even when it is exactly the same as that at Asda.
I suppose it makes sense since Asda have a reputation for being cheap (and crap), but they always make me smile.
I think in those cases they are pointing out that you would be no better off for shopping at Asda, which is still a positive for them as to see the label you are already in their store and hence would only be likely to switch if you believed you could get a better deal. Showing that you can't is their way of reassuring you that you have made the right choice...:)0
