Has anyone had any good bargains in the Norwich Blue Boar Tescos stores as I am going shopping this afternoon.

today in Ricoh Coventry, I got a swakers maccaw reduced to £17.49 my dd wanted one for xmas but they were too dear but at this price she can have it for her birthday. lots of other toys as well

Hi, I have been hunting for the mega-reduction thread, and couldn't find it, and it is not a mis-price in the RnR or DTD sense, so if any mod can decide where it should go - please move;)

Shopping in local Tesco last night ( just for a change) and spotted on the bedding section loads of half price sels for items - and relevant section was empty :eek: . Such as sheets, quilts etc in 'cappachino' colour I think.
Also some of their Tesco Value plastic kitchen tools were reduced, again nothing left in my store but yellow sel.:cool:

Anyway, feeling miffed that I had missed out, I wandered to end of aisle and there were various odds and sods of reductions, inc
Calendars - now £1
Candles now £2 and £3
Also some Tesco 'finest' bedding - sheets and quilt sets. Had been £30 odd, now with £10 off
Also Tesco pan set had been £30, now £20. Took them to nearest scanner to check and pan and sheet sets scanning at £7.50, and Quilt set at £10.

I tried some of the other 'reduced' items, but they came up at the price on the sels, but if you have time and a working scanner it may be worth your while checking out the price as there are mis-prices - a lot lower than what the sels says.

Defrost thoroughly for all.
OVEN - Place on baking tray, centre 15-20mins 190c/375f gas mark 5
MICROWAVE - Place steaks on non metallic plate, dot with butter, season with salt/pepper, cover loosely. Full Power 850watt 3-3 1/2mins, sTAND FOR 1min.
GRILL - Medium heat, brush steaks with little oil or melted butter(optional), 12-14mins, turn occasionally.
GRIDDLE - Brush griddle pan with little oil and heat over high heat until hot, Place steaks in pan, cook over moderate to high heat for 4-5mins each side.

Just come back from Exeter Exe Vale & they have reduced loads of various jars of pickles to 10p. Included were Haywards Pickled Onions, Cucumbers & red cabbage and Barry Norman Pickled onions. Also luxury Cranberry sauce with port & vacuum packs of chestnuts. They all had a use by date during 2009 so worth putting away for next Christmas!
