Im getting rather confused ive read a few postsa on here but cant get a definbate answer.
I want to keep my ntl phone line but ditch their channel services and broadband and get SKY's TV (which is a little more in money but i believe the service i get will be better!) and the £10 broadband.
Some people have said that i can do this but when i go to the availability checker on sky's website (for the BB) it says i have a cable number and that i need a BT line for it.
Whats the deal? .

Parents have got Sky
I have NTL
I without a doubt prefer Sky. More choice. Faster set top box. Better interactive for the footy. The poker channel of course
Now that Sky do a broadband package as well then that would prob be the better option. Without it I'd recommend NTL's 3 in 1 package with phone line but Sky's fine.
I dont know the details about getting a BT line installed but I'm sure if BT wanted your service they ain't gna overcharge you...[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Yep. You need a BT phone line. You'd basically have to ditch the NTL phone line and unless you wanted to pay for two lines!0
