Can I transfer number to a different name?

Not if you want to keep the existing contract. The use of a PAC code terminates a contract. However if you are ending your current contract, you can use the PAC code with whatever name you want - it is merely a code that transfers the number from one network to another and isn't done by name.0

Note: apparently this happened after transferring with the PAC....I transferred a very good number to Virgin mobile after buying from ebay and they have now suspended my account and wont release it until I can provide proof of ownership and they say that ebay is not an official source of purchase. Help!0
