Quizmania on ITV Play have just been censured by Ofcom for some of the answers on a particular quiz. This asked what you could expect to find in a woman's handbag. Two of these answers were "Rawlplug" and "Balaclava". Ofcom have told them not to do it again, and consider this a serious breach of the rules.

as for the maths question.. i just wonder if anyone managed to get through, gave them the correct answer and quickly mentioned the fact that it was the ONLY correct answer according to the BODMAS maths rule, that theyd then be forced to give that prize out?! i reckon not, theyd of probably have said they werent running it according to BODMAS... or worse still (and most likely), the presenter would have blinked and said "whats bodmas, dear" unknowingly.. lol

There was one before Christmas (written about in the paper), something to do with "Things associated with Christmas"

One of the answers was the alternative title to T'Was The Night Before Christmas.

Ok... hang on a sec... I'm no mathmatical whizz kid but even so... I didn't even know there WAS a rule about what order do perform a calculation... I know about carrying out any calculation within brackets first, but this question doesn't have any brackets... I didn't realise you could stick a bracket in wherever you felt like it! :rotfl:

Hmm... (wonders how many shop pricing signs she can adapt in her favour, just by the use of a marker pen....)
