It might be tricky giving the credit card details, which will identify it as British, and which may include confirmation of your address even if they are not posting them.
But of course you could be abroad for a few days while ringing. Prefix your dialling with 141 to withhold your number.
Or can you get a friend abroad to buy them for you?0 -
Or you could be phoning on your mobile, whilst on holiday abroad (even if you are still in the UK).The only stupid question, is an unasked question ...0

Just pointing out that you are asking for trouble.
If they have any sense, they will demand proof of foreign RESIDENCE (not just being there for a few days) - like your Spanish electricity bill or whatever - which people "trying it on" won't be able to produce.
And as they aren't going to supply details of the checks they are going to perform, until AFTER you've bought your tickets, you might be "up a gum tree" as my Dad likes to say.0 -

Actually MarkyMarkD is probably right. The conditions said you don't have to be one of the 2 people named. So get a friend abroad to buy them for you. I doubt if they'd be on hold for hours0 -
So I'd try ringing 14101159 934 163 and, if they ask (and ONLY if they ask), tell them you're calling from abroad.
From the Aloud.co Glastonbury page:
'All UK addressed bookings purchased via the overseas booking page will be cancelled'
So I'm sure they'll have UK addressed bookings covered for the overseas phone no. too.BE NICE - IT'S FREE!0 -
Might be worth trying if you have a 'foreign' address you can send the tickets to.
Phone from here, get the tickets sent 'abroad' get friend or relative to send them back to you.
I'm not going to do this - but my cousin lives within earshot of the festival and gets a fist full of free tickets from Evis.0 -
You could always go into work on a Saturday, call the 0870 number and leave the phone on queue until it's answered....
If they say anything you reply, "well I was in work anyway and national rate calls are free on a works phone aren't they?"0 -
When this thread first came out, it wasn't mentioned that it was on a Sunday. The call charges will be 2p per minute, not 8p. Not quite the rip-off some people were suggesting, though still more than ordinary number from BT for 1p or free from 188660

Best wishes to those phoning, including the girl from the ... credit card centre0
