is there any way to call this number at a local rate 0870 165 2005

Hi All
I will be on the phone to get some tix soon, but as it,s a 0870 number is there any way to get this call cheaper?
Last time i was on the phone for about 13 hrs.

This is from the site who will be selling the tix.
Tickets will also be sold through the telephone ticket line 0870 165 2005. There is a queuing system for telephone sales, so be aware you will incur additional telephone charges at national call rate as you wait your turn.

If you scroll down THIS PAGE of the Glastonbury Festival website, you'll find:

What if I live outside UK?

    • Overseas ticket sales will be handled differently from UK ticket sales. If you are permanently living abroad, you can only buy tickets online, or by telephoning + 44 1159 934 163 using a credit card. No UK sales will be accepted using this process.
    • Tickets for overseas sales will not be sent out by post, but can be collected from an office near the festival site between Wednesday morning, June 22nd and Sunday morning, June 26th 2005. Details of the collection arrangements and the checks that will be carried out will be sent to overseas ticket purchasers.
So I'd try ringing 14101159 934 163 and, if they ask (and ONLY if they ask), tell them you're calling from abroad.

Well you're going to look bloody stupid turning up at the site to collect your tickets, and then being refused them because you obtained them under dubious circumstances! D'oh!

Is there anyone who knows how to dial an '0900' number without paying the big fat premium?

Actually, I'd look that way just turning up there at my age.

Not so, there is people of all age's. There,s a thing on there site about dot cotton from Eastenders going last year to watch someone from her family in a band.
And some freinds come last year on the sunday with there 3 month old girl that they conceived there the year before. (tents do go bump in the night)

They have a family field aswell that you can only get into with a family pass.

If you have not been i would say go once(if you can get tix)

Could you say you had ordered them whilst overseas, but had now returned to the UK and therefore, were able to collect them in person?? ;)
The only stupid question, is an unasked question ...
