maybe if we called housework and chores by another name it wouldnt feel so unmotivating a thing to do...it could be...sparkling the house or hugging our families or.... now i feel a bit daft but those things make me smile and laugh a bit which the words housework and chores definately dont!konMarie and fabbing all the way

I've been thinking about that for a couple of hours but can't think of a more appealing term. I think some of us here live alone so it would be nice to think of an all-embracing term that sounded like it was fun to do! How about 'loving your home'?0 -

Hi everyone. I'm thrilled I have stumbled upon here. I would love to join you all.
Strictly speaking I'm still a SAHM until September then my youngest will be at nursery and i'll become a homemaker instead.Everyone I talk to are crying and panicking about their children growing up and going to Nursery. I'm not so! My little one cannot wait, it's very exciting and she'll thrive at nursery now she's an inquisitive little 3 year old, much better than home even though I actively encourage my children to keep themselves busy by doing all sorts at home.
I am looking forward to sitting sown with a cuppa in absolute peace and quiet........ I cannot imagine the joy! lol
I am currently an OU student working towards a degree too so I'll double up on courses now I have some spare time.0 -
