My t mobile contract is coming to an end soon but i want to stay with t mobile but get a samsung galaxy 2, some of the online shops sell it cheaper than direct from t mobile so is it possible to request a pac code from t mobile and use it to buy a new t mobile contract with say mobiles.co.uk ?

You would have to port into another network and then back out again. Awkward but possible.

That's right, port it out to say a free PAYG sim, Tesco or similar and then back to T-Mobile.
You can't port/transfer to the same network. Silly and long-winded, but sadly that's what you have to do.

Yes. Get a free PAYG sim for this, but you are likely to be asked to make a top up before they give you the PAC to port it back to t-mobile.

Wait until a few days before the end of your contact then request your pac. Hopefully then their retentions process should kick in. Then see if they make you a similar offer.

The only other way is as above because you can't use a pac on the same network.

so if ive got this right, request pac from t mobile, order free sim from say giff gaff, give them pac code and top up phone. Then get pac code from giff gaff and give back to retailer to buy t mobile phone ?

Is this correct ? just 1 question how long to i have to keep the free payg sim b4 i can request my pac ?
