Wet IPhone can anyone help

My IPhone 4 fell out of my bag into a puddle earlier, I am so cross!
I can text and use the internet still, the only problem seems to be the speakers. I can't hear anything when making/recieving calls. If I plug the ear phones in I can though. So it could be worse, I can still use the phone but obviously its very annoying!
Also I can still hear the phone ringing, but no text tone. Does any one have any experience of this, will it dry out, or is it a lost cause?!

put it in a bowl of rice it draws the wet out, you should also not use it and remove the battery for a few days

You can't remove the battery from an iPhone. DO NOT put an electrical charge through it, leave for four-five days in a sealed bag of rice. Changes are extremely slim if you've been switching it on or off or charging it since it got wet but it's worth a shot.
