Anyone Been to Ground Zero, New York?

I'm doing my final year dissertation on ground zero in New York looking at the reasons people chose to visit it and why its such a popular tourist destination now.

And if you don't have a morbid fascination with Ground Zero, don't book into the Hilton Millenium in New York. My g/f has never forgiven me; a truly mindnumbing and soul searching place; my room on the 60th floor was about 20 metres from where the WTC once stood and you have a view towering over the remains.

Om my! I had no idea it was a tourist site. I was there the month before it happened and my sister was there the week before - I don't think we could ever go back.
