Firstly does your keyboard look like the one Reggie Rebel posted? If not, put the keys back where they should be.
Currently in the regional/language settings and it lloks like its set for english united kingdom
There should be settings for keyboard or input language I think... Which version of Windows are you using?
  • Ha ha humphrey, yes my keyboard looks like it should, they havn'e swapped the keys around.

I have no idea what windows i'm using, how would I find out?
  • ooooh i'm on windows xp

From Microsoft website (where it says unities states choose united kingdom instead):

    Windows XP
Click Start, type intl.cpl in the Run box, and then press ENTER.
On the Languages tab, click Details.
    Under Installed services, click Add.
In the Input language list, click the language that you want. For example, English (United States).
In the Keyboard layout/IME list, click United States-International, and then click OK.
In the Select one of the installed input languages to use when you start your computer list, click Language name - United States-International (where Language name is the language that you selected in step 6), and then click OK.
In the Regional and Language Options dialog box, click OK.

Notice that the Language bar appears on the taskbar. When you position the mouse pointer over it, a ToolTip appears that describes the active keyboard layout. For example, United States-International appears.
Click the Language bar, and then click United States-International on the shortcut menu that appears.

hmm but you want mini netbook keyboard not normal UK keyboard... er not sure what you would do then... Maybe there will be an option for a netbook keyboard in the Keyboard layout list mentioned above?
  • Its already set for english in the input etc so I have absolutely no idea now what to do.

Think i'll just switch it off before I chuck it out the window
  • Scrap that I don't know what i've done but now the keyboard doesn't work at all lol
