PAYG handset for checking emails

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can recomend a handset to me. I work from home as a freelance editor but am after a phone which will let me access my emails when away from home, which is not that often! As I live in Cumbria reception isn't brilliant so I rarely use my current mobile except when travelling out of the county. Consequently I do not want a contract but rather a PAYG phone and again I don't want to pay a lot for a handset that is rarely used. T-mobile have a phone called Unity which looks to my untrained eye, very like a Blackbery and is priced at £35. I've never really been into mobile phones so any suggestions are very welcome!

It's worth choosing the network first then. You can order free PAYG sims and check the signal if your handset is unlocked. Also for all networks you can check coverage online.

I think for 2g signal Orange and T-mobile are the same, but with 3g signal internet connection is faster.
