Samsung galaxy 2 or HTC Sensation

Hello all,

Just after your thoughts. I am with Vodafone and am due an upgrade in the next few weeks, but not sure what to go for.
I'm currently using a HTC HD2 running Droid, but after all the constant flashing I have been doing it is starting to fail, so looking for a new phone running Droid.

Anyhow I wanted your thoughts on the sg2 and the sensation, as I have had a play with both and really like them but can't decide one or the other.

The best advice is to play with them yourself, but if you're not sure after already having done this, I'm not sure what formites thoughts would be useful to you.

This might help. I am looking into new deals too. I think I will go with GS2 as an upgrade from GS which has been a fantastic phone. Just looking into best deals!

If you don't want the hassle of cashback deals the O2 "flash" sale for one week of an SG2 & 300 mins. unltd tests & 500mb at £27 looks a good eal to me.

Go for the S2... it might become a collector's item Apple have lost the plot and are trying to get the *whole* Galaxy series (all smartphones and tablets) banned from sale in the EU...

Yeah I know they are all suing each other (all very childish and stupid imho - TV manufacturers aren't all suing each other over the *shape* and *retail packaging* and *anything we can think of* of their respective offerings) anyway... currently Apple have a temporary injuction valid for Germany (was EU-wide at first but got overturned), they're now playing the courts in The Netherlands because that's where the Samsung stuff gets shipped...

Oh and I've had a S2 for months, it's great - and no I'm not a "fan" of any side, my previous phone was a HTC HD2 (WinMo) and many different makes before that but not Apple - their stuff just doesn't suit me.

Man I hate Apple with a fiery passion. Big bullies. Not only do they not like you doing what you like on their devices but they're trying to ban devices that do. I think it goes to show that they can't compete so they've thrown their dummies out of the pram.

Anyway, both fantastic devices! I've played with both and they're both fast, lovely screens and interfaces. I must say the Sensation blew me away personally but I would get the one with the best deal.

I'd go with the Sensation.... you will probably miss Sense if you go for the Samsung. Also, having played with it, the Samsung feels a little less rounded and smooth compared to the Sensation - you may well get used to the difference though.

99% of the reviews put SGS2 tops but really its a personal choice as to which one .

I've been looking at reviews and playing with them both. I really miss sense as I don't have it on his Droid build, but really liked it on my winmo.

But I keep catching myself leaning towards the sg2. I've got a few weeks before I can change so think I'm just going to keep looking and reading.
