What's the best VPN/Proxy service to watch Sky Sports, when I'm away?

Yes, I am living in SE Asia and travel to US and other places using it there too. Tend to use it 6 days a week for English TV, Banking and share trading (latter two for the 256 bit security)

Don't bother with most free ones like hotspot shield, too many ads and lots of adware and maybe other stuff nosing round your 'puter

Witopia seems to not suffer from slower connection speeds and normally matches my local dsl speed 99% of time, I do the $69 package with iPhone VPN too and do not regret paying for the reliability. There is a 30 day trial if I recall correctly and the customer service to help set-up or any problem solving is very fast, within an hour at most.

Not tried Sky Sports yet, but check out with the trial or give them a call if you get time

What about using a proxy such as 'Tor' or 'Ghostsurf' ?. These fool the website into believing you are in another country. I.E. you are in Denmark, the proxy points to a UK address, Skyplayer looks to see where your point of connection to the net is, sees' it is in the UK and allows you to use the service just like you would if you were really in the UK.

Laptop Telly is pretty reliable for this, I watch Sky Player streamed through its UK VPN here in Greece and doesn't ever seem to buffer
