Not tried them yet but going to give them a go to see if they can help with family's eczema.0 -
Have used eco balls for years and they work very well for us and they must be cheaper than these soap nuts plus no detergent at all.0

I've used soap nuts for a few years now. I mainly use them on lightly soiled clothes and towels. I love them and would recommend them.
With two young children i still need detergent and stain removers.Stop trying to keep up with the Jones, as they're trying to keep up with the Smith's0 -
I've used them for about 4 years, started using them for ds nappies when he was a baby, also they don't irratate dd's eczema prone skin. Like pp I still use bio for whites but soap nuts are excellent for towels ( I use a drop of lavender oil for scent on towels, but not on clothing) They lasted ages and you can dry them out and reuse until they tiurn pale and brittle.'You have brains in your head. My brother got me onto soapnuts - I was skeptical at first as a mummy of a 2 year old - with lots of washing to do. I've been very pleasantly surprised! If there are any stains that need extra help I just bung a bit of stain remover in too - which is what it recommends to do anyway. The rest of my usual washing has been left softer and smelling natural rather than highly perfumed and therefore better for our skin. It's saved me a FORTUNE in washing poweder, and I've still got well over 3/4 of the bag left. I got mine from Salveo nd really can't recommend them enough - annoyed my brother discovered them before me, though!0
