Had a terrible few days. Have found out have written off my car in the accident I had and my bathroom is flooded.

Still my period hasn't come so I have hope! I can't figure out when it is due. I'm usually as regular as clockwork 28 days and then last month I had a really, really bad period... stomach ache for days, lasted 6 days and it was just over a week late. I'm really, really hoping for positive news this month. The whole trying thing is causing a real wedge between my OH and I. I've been stressed at work just now and at home too because of my car and the flood. I keep thinking that I'm such bad company and why would my hubby want to spend time with me when I'm so miserable :(

Was going to ask what method do you all use to check your ov? I was using the didgital first response test kit. My friend recommended it, said it worked first or second time for her (she has 4 kids) but its not worked for me just now. She also said that last month that I could have had an early miscarriage (she has no particular medical expertise and I haven't been to the doctors about it) which I don't want to think about. Sorry for such a long and depressing post :(

  • Hi guys. Quick question about the opk sticks. Is fmu more likely to show a positive as I've not had appositive at anytime of the day yet. Not that I'm expecting to yet but it'd be nice to know. I'm using the 25m sticks

CD20 for me today. God I cannot wait until I can test on CD29. 9 days to go. I feel very rough atm. Constipated, full of wind and cramping stomach. No appetite and feel like a big big ball. Hopefully it will be a positive result, but if not back to the planning after AF next week on Friday.

Good luck guys. Fingers crossed for you all too.

You've been particularly unlucky this month:o Your hubby has known you for longer:cool:
How did your bathroom get flooded? Burst pipe?
She also said that last month that I could have had an early miscarriage (she has no particular medical expertise and I haven't been to the doctors about it) which I don't want to think about. Sorry for such a long and depressing post :(
I assume she means chemical pregnancy? It is surprisingly common. But it is said that one is extra fertile after that.

As for OPKs, I use these:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Highly-Sensitive-Ovulation-Fertility-Strips/dp/B00307E6JQ/ref=pd_cp_d_3

As it's cheaper:D It is not POAS but PIAC (in a cup). I POAS anyway though:shh:

I'm using 20miu sticks. If you tend to drink a lot, then FMU is worth a shot. It'll detect the surge from the day before.
