    Hi all

I'm new, busy looking back at the thread and trying to get my head around all the abbreviations :rotfl:

Me & OH decided last night to no longer use any contraception. We're not actively trying, just not trying not to... :o
That's called Not trying not preventing (NTNP). Best way I'd say:cool:
    Exciting isn't it?:j

I've put you on the first page, let me know if you'd like your age listed as well (not compulsory).

If you'd like to be included on the Team Sticky, let us know which day of your cycle you are on (CD):)

And QQ :naughty: stop stressing.:) You would tell any one of us that it could be quite normal. DTD when DH is up to it, but no pressure. :)
Telling others what to do is a lot easier than telling oneself...:o

I think next BD is going to be this Saturday, as we are staying in a nice hotel that night for no particular reason - had free gift voucher that needed using up:p

    Hi everyone ,

I'm new here, can I join your thread please? I'm 33 and I've been married to my lovely husband for almost 9 years although we've been together 15 years. We've decided to finally take the plunge and try for our first baby. We've known we were going to start trying for a while and I've been reading this thread and getting more and more excited about joining in with you all. I took my last pill this morning so as of tomorrow I think I can officially say I am TTC! I am looking forward to some exciting times ahead.

    Welcome Elelyn :)
Wow that is so exciting! I have been married for about 2 months now and we have been together 7 years :) It is so exciting isn't it :)

I didn't really find too many side effects of coming off the pill hope it is the same for you :)

Thanks LegalBlonde. I had 12 months off the pill after being on it since I was 16 and have only been back on it for the last 6 months. Last time I came off it I had no problems and my cycle seemed to go back to normal straight away so I'm hoping it will be the same this time. To be honest, I've been desperate to come off it again as I was prescribed a different brand of pill this time (Yasmin) and I've had horrendous side effects with it.

We are going on holiday in three weeks and I've got this idea in my head that we are going to conceive whilst we are away. I know this is highly unlikely and wishful thinking that I'll get pregnant the first month of trying but you never know!!!

I've added you on the first page, let us know when AF arrives (or not!), then I'll put you on the Team Sticky list:cool:

Making babies must be one of the most exciting/frustrating/life changing event ever!:j

    Lovely:happyhear

People tend to be more relaxed during holidays, so you may catch it:cool:
    Going anywhere exciting?

Fingers crossed you'll have a lovely holiday baby!:j

Thanks QQ. I'm really happy to be part of this thread.

We are off to Turkey for a week in five star all inclusive hotel. It will be our first time in Turkey and we've never done an all inclusive holiday before. I'm really looking forward to just chilling out. I read in a book that some couples go on holiday whilst TTC and call it a 'conceptionmoon'. As you say, there appears to be a better chance of getting lucky when you are both relaxed. We shall see!

Thanks BigZee, re the info re fertilityfriends, this is my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/32f7c6 (uninspiring at the moment!)

I didn't understand how to change my name, I did look honest, but couldn't find anything!

    Hi mrsrobertson,

NTNP - that's what I thought we'd be doing when we first decided that we were both finally ready to have a baby. However, the more we talked about it the more we realised that this is something that we really, really want and so we have decided to actively try. I have become quite obsessed already and I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or not! I've bought some of the IC OPK's in readyness and I'm dying to start using them :rotfl:

Welcome to all our lovely newbies, it's lovely to see some new faces here, especially after lots of BFPs earlier on in this lucky no. 7 thread!
