bigzippy- I'm not sure why, I've always been irregular. I went on the pill at 14 to regulate my periods and was on it on and off until last christmas and haven't been taking anything at all this year. Not sure if it is something to worry about ie, maybe I'm not ovulating, or just frustrating. I mentioned it to my doctor last time I went (when I hadn't had AF for over 90 days) but she didn't really say anything helpful, apart from to suggest going on the pill for a month to try and kick start my cycle again, but that would stop TTC anyway.

Sorry to go on about it, I know its pretty minor compared to what some of you on here are going through.
I would suggest that if you're concerned at all, you could see them about it specifically. If it's not unusual for you to be (wildly?) irregular I would question whether you may want/need testing for something like PCOS. (I would also question the logic of going on a contraceptive pill re kick start periods again in order to TTC! But then I generally do just question the medics :p;)) Although I hope in saying this I'm not worrying you, as you have had child(ren?) in the past, so clearly are capable of it, iyswim? :)

P.s. You are nowhere near "going on"!:naughty:

ETA: When are you gonna use the new HPTs Rebekah/Europa?

Thankfully AF seems to be leaving the building (CD9? I think). MIL's sister came up to visit MIL today and then we had tea out with her, so no need to troll up to the hospital today, and no cooking or washing up required of us! :D Apparently MIL is no longer being transferred to the rehab centre, as they'd like to do her first op this coming week....:o

I must say, with shorter cycles, I get two very very heavy days and then really light then spotting for few days.

While with longer cycles, it was something like heavy for couple of days, medium for another couple then light/spotting for few days.
I have an appointment already!! :D:o A friend of ours works at our GP surgery, and knew we were going for this referral, so she text me yesterday first thing..... she's pushed it through and went online for us yesterday and booked us in on a cancellation for 24th November!!
    Wow that's mega quick!:T
And when she's recovered from having it done on the left side, she'll be having the same thing done again on the right side too! _pale_

Do you know when you might ov?

I'm not really sure. I think I ov'd about two weeks after I came off the pill as I had a bit of a stabbing pain and the old sex drive went up a few notches, it has now returned to a more normal level. It's been four weeks since I came off the pill so maybe I will ov again in a couple of weeks.

    Who knows!

Hi ya, just finished with AF, first time in a loooooooong time that my cycle seems to be normal- no more pills or anything- every 28 days now since last month yay !!.. I cant wait to start trying next week !... we know now we want another child and sure about this big step. Plus my DD keeps asking or talking about Babies and asking if i am pregnant ? We have never spoken in front of her , weird.
Anyway now we know is for sure, i have this urgent feeling to start taking advantadge of deals, sales.. and start buying things right now, anyone of you have bought things already ? If i get pregnant before January tho, i might buy few things there then, just so excited at the minute.

    Hi people,

Hope you're all having a nice weekend.

Have to say, after lurking on this thread yesterday and we did a bit of BD'ing last night, I was thinking "maybe I should be doing funny yoga positions to help things along" OH was chuckling away at me!

Anyway, I have a cool new iphone to play with - does anyone have any suggestions of Apps that would track my cycle?
