    Fannyanna, (((hugs))) to you too:o

Yes I've tried Soy before, once just before my 1st fertility appt, it was wasted as my doctor prescribed something to induce AF, 2nd was in Sept as I wanted to ov before I left DH, so I overdosed and it ended up as anovulatory:o

Hopefully this time will be third time lucky:p

I'm taking a conservative dose, 115mg from CD3-7. It's considered to be the most successful date/dose:cool:
    T-sil, welcome:wave:
    (((Hugs))) for the two mcs:(
Hope you'll have your forever baby soon:)

Well done for losing 10lbs!:T How long did it take?
Flee, ssing?:naughty::D Now that you mentioned, I think I have stronger ss when I ov from my left ovary:o
    Pickwick, massive hugs for CD1:(

Tinkwings, testing at 10DPO is way too early:naughty::o
ikkle87, :rotfl:at your BD session, you do play rough don't you?:D
claire, it should work like clomid. It tricks the brain into thinking there's not much estrogen, so the body produces more estrogen which should encourage ovulation for those who have problems oving (like me:p).

It can produce better eggs too:cool:
Maybe an old wive's tale but who cares, after this long TTC, I deserve to be adventurous:D

    Thank you for the welcome.
I have been doing in for about 8 weeks now. I've been losing about 1-1.5/2 pounds a week pretty much so im glad it's coming off slow. Hopefully it will stay off. Just 5 more pounds to target!
    It's SO easy...best diet I've ever tried :)

I did SW before my wedding and lost 11lbs. I found it great and really easy to stick to. I really should get back on it but I have been lazy and just doing the "cereal diet" for now :o

    Welcome T-sil

I saw the GP today and he has referred me on. He was really impressed with our weight loss and said it smacks you in the face when you've not seen us for a while... which is funny cos my mum still hasn't commented!! Oh well, she's weird anyway tbh.

MIL is recovering relatively well from the stroke but we still haven't had the surgeon/specialist on the case, so dont' know exactly what the plan for the op is. She's not a good candidate (for "not good" see: terrible) for General Anaesthesia, so we're worried, frankly.

I had a bit of a meltdown tonight, and feel pretty blue, so I'm gonna ninjadispar.gif

    You can't pick your family!

Well still no peak on CBFM. I can see two feint lines this morning though.

Tomorrow will be day 10 of testing. I know you should continue if you haven't had a peak, but in a :money:way, I won't carry on as I don't think I am going to see a peak this month - if ever!

Don't want to start the day without PMA, but could this mean I don't ov?

Having looked at my chart on FF, it had shown that my fertile time was Thurs to Sat. This has now shifted & it has changed to the fact that it was last Sat to Monday & that I ov'd on Tuesday.

Why is this? I have been temping & there was a dip Mon/ Tues, so I assume this is why. My temp has been a bit up & down.

How do I link my chart so it can be seen on here?

We DTD on Sat, Mon & Wed so it's not a major concern - but would just like to understand more about what my body could be doing! Hopefully we will DTD tonight as well - then will have a break from it as OH can't cope! Funny how before we were TTC, he said we should do it every day

TTC40 if you go to the "sharing" tab on ff and there should be a link to use for forums. (can't tell you exactly where right now as ff seems to not be working).
It is also useful if you change your nickname from a string of numbers to your username you have here. I think that is on the same page. In the top left hand corner it should say "change nickname"

    xx

ETA: sharing then setup. Select "get sharing code buttons" Then copy the one for forums
To change your username go to setup then view and the the change your nickname button is in the top left.

DH's cousin is here for a long weekend atm and we were listening to Ed Sheeran, when he tells me that this song is nice and I should listen/watch it, then I saw the title pop up ("Small Bump") and I physically recoiled from it and said (almost panicky :o) "is this about babies??" and he said "Oh s*** yeah, sorry, you might not wanna watch that!" :o
Luckily/thankfully(?) he was here when I had my scan that showed PCOS, and I told him the result of it then too cos I wanted him to know why we were acting funny iyswim, bless him though :o:A

I've just watched/listened to it though and realised that actually some of the ladies who've had mcs might find this a really nice tribute type thing (especially the last few lines of the song)...? as it's sposed to actually be about a close friend of his who went through similar, so thought I'd post it. If it upsets anyone, I apologise in advance.

Sorry to dig up and old post. I decided yesterday that I felt strong enough to listen to this. It made me cry a little :o but it's really beautiful. Thanks for posting it zippy.

Good luck bigzippy. Being referred to a FS was the first step for me in being able to have a family, even though I then went on to have subsequent children naturally with no extra assistance. It is daunting, but also the right thing to do, and hopefully they can sort you out relatively easily. Even the most sympathetic and interested GP isn't fantastic with fertility issues, just because sometimes drugs and treatment need such fine tuning, that you need to be very very experienced to get things right. I know it can feel like an admission that things aren't working (as opposed to just a fear that that's the case) though.

As for the weight loss, I am always surprised how it goes in terms of people you see every day noticing. With me it tends to be that no one notices anything at all, and then suddenly when I get to about a stone or stone and a half off, suddenly everyone seems to notice in the same week and comment on it. Not sure why it goes that way. From what I've read though your weight loss has been much more dramatic than that. Could your mum just be a bit jealous or feeling defensive? Does she have weight of her own she could do with losing too?

AFM, FF put in the crosshairs today, and I am 3dpo. CBFM still reading high though. I think I did confuse it by stopping testing last month when I got my peak. If we don't conceive this month, then I'm going to reset it and use it properly until we get our BFP. It doesn't make a huge amount of sense I think to skimp on the sticks at this point, when time is short for us. I know they are expensive, but at the end of the day, the saving per month of not using all the sticks it asks for is probably only about £5 and I'm sure I spend that much on BFN pregnancy tests anyway. So conceiving as fast and efficiently as I can is MSE then ;)
