As you know quite a few people test at 12/13DPO and get a BFN then get a BFP at 14DPO so you're not out yet. I've said this quite a few times but when I got my BFP with Alex I didn't "feel" pregnant at all.

Managed a quick BD before work. Think every day since Thursday is taking it's toll on OH as he 'struggled' but did get there! Sorry for TMI. Hope to get a peak tomorrow so his swimmers still have a chance.

Still wondering whether to do a four hour round trip drive after work tomorrow to meet up. This is assuming I get a peak. Maybe as it's only month one I need to chill out.

I'm not used to having to wait - but am also mindful that age isn't on my side.

Might be too much pressure if he knows I am travelling just to BD.

On a brighter note, the weekend has given us time to talk about 'what if' we get pg. Its something he really wants - although is concerned that in our forties we are too old to deal with it!

Good luck with your interview sexymouse. I still feel poorly this morning so not gone to uni today. I took my temp this morning at normal time and it was very low it was 97.18 (i did wake up feeling cold) about four minutes later i took my temp again, i was still in bed and it was 97.58, still lower than yesterdays temp of 97.83. Which temp should i put in ff, i didn't think four minutes would make such a difference. I think that maybe af is going to come on wednesday.

Not much to report here really. Did a test on Saturday just for the fun of it, and it was a BFN. Although it was very early to test, I do think AF is on its way anyway.

Saw my gorgeous nephew yesterday and SIL got him to show me her 12-week scan pic. When they came back, I asked him who was in the photo and he said 'my baby' awwwww :heartsmil

DH pretended to be a horse and I held our nephew on his back and he went for a ride. He loved it, was giggling away and kept saying 'again'. DH is so good with him.

I think technically you are supposed to use the first one. I've done this before and taken my temp twice. What I usually do is record an average temperature.

I've had a looksie and a dramatic temp drop at 13DPO usually means that AF is on her way. But you temp could be affected by other factors - I don't know about you but it feels a lot colder here this morning than it has been. Also throwing your covers off in your sleep or sleeping with your mouth open could also have an affect.

When i bought my thermometer it said that it was a basal one, but now iam not so sure (i bought if from ebay) when i take my temp, it takes about two minutes to give me a reading.
