My rheumatologist was quite unhelpful as well and told me she didn't need to see me again after the 1st appointment. I googled EDS specialist centres and found one in Sheffield and one in London. I took the information to my GP and asked them if I could have an appointment. They asked the PCT and I was allowed and finally saw her last week. The specialist said the rheumatologist should have kept seeing me and referred me back. Ha!
I wonder sometimes if I should bother, but I go through cycles of"want to get to the bottom of all this" and then "I've had enough of doctors and tests". I'm in the latter atm. I think I'll push to be seen when I get my bfp though.

    :j:j:jBB I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! :j:j:j
I've identified with you cos you joined/started ttc around the same time as me, so it kind of feels (in my head) like an "ahh one of us" type thing, if that makes an sense...? :o ah I'm chuffed to bits for you, I really am. Especially with all that l maybe only one ovary works" thing too. You've given me, and my gammy ovaries, some hope back :D

ETA that's not to say I'm not genuinely happy for every bfp, it's just that you identify with some more than others, don't you...? :)

Apparently three hours sleep is all I'm getting! I've really been struggling to sleep properly since Friday and I have to say I'm not enjoying the new insomniac me! :(

Managed to sleep between about 1 and 3 but I've been wide awake the last two+ hours and I'm now getting hungry too!

  • I'm looking forward to rejoining this thread soon, although we aren't officially going to start trying until early next year. I want to enjoy my Christmas this year as the last 2 I have been preggers (the first one sadly ended in mc).

I am following the thread though. Big congrats to BB, and hugs to all the ladies having a rough time of it. All I can say is I was an old timer on this thread a couple of years ago and I found it to be such amazing support..often better than anything in real life!

To the ladies who have mc'd recently, I am so sorry for your losses and to be honest in the here and now nothing takes the sadness and loss away, but it does get easier as time goes on.

I still have the scan of my baby with the heartbeat a few days before I lost him/her, and I still get it out from time to time and ball my eyes out. You never forget them x

    Morning all,

Well I took my first pregnacare conception vitamin this morning, and Moon has taken his man ones too. The conceive plus was shipped yesterday (I'm impressed by how fast Amazon can be - I ordered it yesterday too), so should arrive in the next couple of days, then let the BDing commence!

    Hugs for Jules on CD1.

    Love the wedding pics emsbet.

    Welcome to the thread MV.

Hugs for bigzippy - it'll be your turn next then!

Fingers crossed for Rebekah and anyone else who is testing soon.

Thanks to QQ for doing the lists. How are you doing lovely?

Hugs to anyone else who is in need of one.
