Whattodonow - when I first met my OH he said he never wanted to get married. In fact, he didn't ever want to live with anyone either. He had this idea of us living next door to each other instead :rotfl: He changed his mind somewhere along the way though and four years later on Christmas day he proposed. So don't give up hope ;)

Mine too. Said he didnt believe in marriage. Then changed his mind about that..

then said he didnt want kids - I was ready to break up with him because that was a total deal breaker for me.

We stayed together, then years later decided to get married. And obviously now Im on here!

I think for him he literally just had to grow up! :)

Just a quickie as I've been lurking. Pages back someone was asking about depo and eggs.

Depo does supress ovulation so it would make sense that the eggs are still in there. My family planning nurse laughted when I suggested it but nothing I've read makes me think it can be otherwise.

I think it might explain why I get PG so quickly despite being 36 - I was on depo for 10 years or so, so my eggs, at least their amount, is the same as me being 26. Of course, I don;t know about their quality, but the eggs definitely don't go anywhere while you're on depo.

I always wondered that too because I was on the pill for I think 9 years so considering it stops you ovulating what happens to the eggs? But then Ive read things saying just because your ovulation was stopped doesnt mean you then have more eggs later on. But how can that make sense?? I dont get it!

Morning ladies, just lurking over from <12 weeks (I'm nearly 11 weeks now....where has that gone?!) and saw this. I can see where you're coming from but that would suggest that you ovary is a little pot full of eggs that are released one at a time. Thats not the case, a new one (or two!) are produced each cycle so the depo doesn't stop eggs that are already there being released, it prevents them being produced at all.

Have had a look through and seen all your lovely wedding photos, it really cheered me up last night when I was feeling a bit down. You all look sooooo lovely. I really must get on and get some of our wedding photos printed, its been over 5 months now and we don't have any yet!

Okay, bit of a timid post from me as I'm scared to say it out loud - but BFP :D

Had a faint line on the internet cheapie so whipped out the CB digi before I could convince myself it was an evap, and there is is 'pregnant 1-2'. DH was with me when we found out, and the look of first shock then joy that crossed his face was priceless. My cat is already defensive about a newcomer as she sat on the digi and when I tried to get it off her she swiped at me! I don't believe it's true tbh, it's been 5 months since I had the implant out and I can't help thinking something is going to go wrong or this was all a dream.

QQ - the tattoo is of a boat - the Dawn Treader - which was in one of the Narnia stories. I am totally obsessed with Narnia, adore the stories, and wanted a tattoo that meant something to me! :)

Rebecah - I think I was lurking when you tested at 7DPO - I'm sure you got the wagging finger! Soooooo tempted today but know its still too early...not fair! *stampy foot smilie*

Congratulations kaemi - have a happy and healthy pregnancy and birth! Love the cat story too.

Congratulations to Secretdebts on getting under £10k.

To any of you ladies who are waiting for OHs to propose, I proposed to Moon on February 29, 2008 (ladies can propose on leap-years). The next leap-year is 2012, so get practising. ;) I had a chocolate banner from Thornton's iced with "will you marry me?" (the ladies in the shop made me swear to go back and tell them the result) and got down on one knee beside the bed, and gave it to him with his cup of tea first thing in the morning.

Anyway, back to topic, QQ could you please put me down as CD2 today?

Hugs for anyone who wants or needs them,

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
