    Morning ladies! :hello:

Not been around for a few days, and yet to read back. :o Hope everyone had a good weekend. :)

Wondering about putting off TTC to early next year. Made the mistake of weighing myself at the weekend and was pretty horrified. Feel really fat at the moment. :o:(

Also, DH is losing his job at the end of January and maybe it would be better to wait until he is in a new job, as I'm a bit worried about that.

Think me and DH will need to have a chat about it tonight. Anyone got any thoughts?

    Lily x

    Hi Lily,

I am also going through an 'I feel fat' phase at the moment. I'd love to be one of those slim women who has a really nice tidy baby bump but unfortunately I think if I do get pg I'm going to look like a whale. I worry that I'll just look even fatter rather than pregnant. I'm also worried that my bosoms which are far too big to begin with (34G and I hate them) will get even bigger and I don't know how I'll cope with that.

Having said that, I want a baby more than anything so am still TTC whilst trying to lose some weight. I figure if I do get pregnant soon I can carry on with healthy eating and perhaps rather than losing weight I just won't put any on for a while if that makes sense?

I didn't realise cbfm was so expensive! Guess there's some real money to be made from people wanting a baby.

oh there is something in the air today - maybe its just the monday blues!
Mine is definitely post holiday/first day back at work blues I think! :(

Feeling a bit better now I'm home and can relax a bit - OH just started getting excited about our friends baby while I got a little excited as I am really happy about it and hopefully we can have a little friend for them soon!! (I did change the subject to something else pretty sharpish though before my mood changed as didnt want to ruin the mood as I do love it when my OH gets excited about little babies!!) :rotfl:

We do still have plenty of time, need to realise that a bit more I think - ive never been the most patient of people with anything but with things I want badly I'm off the scale!! :j
  • Hi all :)

Thanks for all the engagement congrats :j

Hope everyone is ok and ((hugs)) to all who need them :)

Well, still no sign of AF for me - was very unusual but hadn't tested all weekend as I assumed I was definatively out due to 3 negative results last week.

With no AF appearance today, I decided to test with my last available First Response (not very MSE I know but I got a duo pack last week to see if it showed up something my cheapies didn't :rotfl:)

    Anyhoo, this is the result.....

CONGRATULATIONS jovichick! That's a definite positive. First for October. Lets hope it starts a run.

So, CD3 for me (or CD2 according to CBFM as I missed the test window on Saturday) and AF has completely disappeared. Not even any spotting or colour on toilet paper all day, which is the shortest and lightest AF I have ever had. Even Saturday and Sunday werent full flow though flipping painful. Hope this doesnt bode ill for ttc this month. Added to which I forgot to turn CBFM on this morning, as I am out of practice! I know it won't ask for a stick until CD6 but its not going to do me much good this month if I keep forgetting to check it! Post mc doctor's appt tomorrow afternoon.

He is still being very 'touchy feely' though in a caring way. I really do think it's his way as he's not a man of words!
My DH is also not a man of words, but he recently bought a book on pregnancy, I assume he still wants a baby:o

But honestly, how much effort does it take for him to "do it" in a cup??
    5 mins?:rotfl:
    Long time no see robyn:wave:
I'm CD13, tried Soy Isoflavones this cycle. I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday, really sharp pain, almost like a stitch on the right side. Have never felt ovulation so intensely.
Sounds like it is doing its job well:cool:
Is this a case of peeing on sticks evey morning at the same time or do you have to input your own temps etc - as I said before I am meant to be taking this as it comes and not getting overly obsessed according to OH so cant really temp etc!
It's a glorified digital opk, has to be done in the morning FMU in the 6hr window.
Having a little weep myself as cd1 and feeling sorry for myself. :'( OH did bring me a chocolate pud to work to cheer me up though. :-D

    I love chocolate pud:o

You can sell it on ebay after you've finished with it.
It is cheaper than fertility treatments:cool:
Also, some Superdrugs do them at £20.
