Hi, I'm back here again. The hospital confirmed that I have lost our baby at 5 weeks. I'm not sure when we will start trying again. Just coming to terms with what has happened. But I will be reading all of your posts, and hopefully posting soon.

Honey I am so sorry. I have been there and experienced this twice now. If you need a chat.

    Take care xxx :A

That's really sad candlewax, so sorry to hear :(

Flee, thanks for the advice re cat pee! We did get some of that enzyme stuff, so I'm hoping that'll do the trick in collaboration with the vax! Still smells a bit in there though...might have to have a second go. It's such a pain - had to clear loads of stuff out of the room so now it's all over the house.

Just booked our flights to america for christmas - exciting! :D

Not much to report here. DW has just gone away for a week on a business trip (meh), so I am snuggled on the sofa with one of my two dogs. Im STILL stuffy and a bit over it now!

I have had quite a productive weekend and I'm off tomorrow, yay. I was in uni yesterday for an introduction session, so cam home highly motivated and have done most of my first unit over the weekend, now for the essay, eeek!
After a flood in my bathroom 5 weeks ago it is almost finished and I am so happy-it has been a PITA thanks to dodgy builders doing more damage than they fixed, so it should be back to normal in the next day or so.
Apologies for any typos-I stood on my netbook last night so have a big black bit up the middle of the screen, so am just guessing sometimes!
Hope everyone had a good weekend x

    :(

I've got spotting tonight. Mixed emotions, as with my ridiculous cycles it doesn't always mean that AF is coming (I get mid cycle spotting too sometimes) but I think it is on the way, and have been sort of expecting this for a few days. I'm intrigued to see whether it will be light/spotting or heavier, like I've actually ov'd at some point... time will tell. I'm so over this cycle though, I'll be glad to see the back of it. I ordered some Preseed the other day, and still have over 60 OPKs, and the BBT, so might give all of them a bash this cycle... and may/may not go back to the gynae - some more discussion with DH needs to happen about that...

I'm still a bit gutted that I get AF as my mate (who married the day before me and started trying a couple of months before us) is going for her 12wk scan tomorrow, though...and of course that means it'll be all over FB...

    Newbie to the thread.

I am a regular on MSE but have set up a new profile for this thread - don't want the added pressure of people knowing!

I have never wanted a baby but have now changed my mind! As I am 40 and DH a little older I realise this maybe too late. I've been off the pill for a few months although we haven't been TTC in that time.

At the moment I'm trying to have the mind set of 'see what happens' as I know that it may not happen.

    So, action so far
1 - have read as much of the thread as I can
2 - ordered a clear blue fertility monitor
3 - started taking folic acid
4 - continue with diet (BMI over 30)

I look forward to the support of the forum & sharing the journey of others.

If anyone has any other thoughts about what else I should be doing (other that BDing!), please let me know.
