Can someone tell me what the ideal luteal phases are please? Now that I have been able to more precisely pinpoint ovulation it'll be interesting to know.

14 days is ideal but I believe anything over 10/11 is ok.

Skype is amazing! I don't know what I'd do without it, brilliant that it's free too :money:

QQ - I can't find the post but I was asking about CBFM and whether it would work with me havign PCOS and you asked whether OPKs worked for me.

I'm sure I haven't answered this yet but if I have and this is now the second time apologies (memory like sieve) BUT I haven't used them that much but when I have they have been negative so I'm guessing that they are working accurately for me. So perhaps teh CBFM would also work.

I'm torn as to whether or not to get it. I'm wondering whether it really does add any value over and above the OPKs and temping.

I remebered something I wanted to ask. Somebody on FF (can't remember who off the top of my head) has 'BM' on their chart, what does this mean?

    I don't think you've answered.

I don't know if it'll add any value, but is fun to do, especially if TTC is getting a bit mundane:o

It's up to you, if you find OPKs and temps stressful, perhaps you could give them both up and just do CBFM? I do all three of course. I find not knowing most stressful:D

Ideally I'd start temping once you get High on CBFM though to confirm ov:cool:

Thanks. It has gone quick looking back on it although at the time it did feel like it was dragging!

We did get some pictures (free, our hospital doesn't seem to charge :j) but they don't really look like a baby as the cheeky monkey was looking right at us waving instead of lying side on :)

  • morning all, apologies for disappearing yesterday.

QQ I'm now CD3, please can you change me and take me off the testing list.

If my last 3 cycles have been 25, 25 and 19 do I take the average for predicting the next one or do I stick with the most common one?

I suspect I ov much earlier than I thought, as soon as AF has gone i'll be BDing lots in hope of finding an egg in there somewhere.

I'm quite disheartened at the moment simply because the withc showed many days earlier than i was expecting so wasn't expecting it really.

Ah well I will go off to lurk for a while as I think I need to stop thinking about TTC so much and just relax and have fun. It's early days so I really do not have anything to worry about for some time yet! Relaxing and regular BD is going to help me much more than stressing over peeing on sticks etc.

Hope you are all ok and I will be watching you all now and again. Hopefully I'll pop in and out when i'm feeling chirpier!

Thanks QQ. I suppose I should be sensible. At the moment I'm not ovulating so it would be a bit of a waste of money to buy something so expensive which just confirms that I'm not ovulating.

Maybe I'll just temp and OPK and the day that I start ovulating I'll buy the CBFM.
