I have had baby stuff too .... BUT I got it for someone else and Im going to give it to them tomorrow at their baby shower. It's a brand new never been used nappy bin! Its about ten years old and I finally discovered you could get the cassettes in Asda's - but I was very tempted to keep it, especially as I know they aren't the type to like anything from the charity shop (I'm a charity shop fanatic!) - so Im slightly worried at how they will take this freecycle 'gift' tomorrow!

Congratulations to Glimmer and sa-ra-ra-ra on your BFPs! And to Lisa26 on your TLP! I hope I haven't missed anybody else!

I dont know if anybody remembers me moaning about my eye - well I finally took myself off to the minor incident people at our local A&E -and it turns out I have 2 scratches on it. So, I have cream to put in it 4 times a day and it's safe to use just on the amazing off chance, I am pregnant. The doctor was lovely and was asking about our TTC journey and who was carrying (which is kind of obvious if you look at my wife and I!) - anyway, this irritating eye thing should go in 2 days. Gawd, I cannot wait!

I am SO looking forward to my ovary scan thing tomorrow. I want to know whats going on in there! Is that weird?

Oh and QQ turn away right NOW!
SS'ing ...My gums have bleed 3 times now when I brushed my teeth.

So I guess they would be able to tell you tomorrow if you have conceived then??? Hope so, fingers crossed for you :)

Do you know when I was trying to think of a name, I wanted one that would be practically unsearchable, as I didn't want to be tied to any other forums/my name.

But it's so blooming hard, I can't remeber it some days and I wish I could change it.

    So just call me 2b!

Temp all through the cycle, or at least from the end of AF, would be my advice. (I'm aware I'm a few pages behind though) Have you been using OPKs? (They come in discrete packaging) I would note down - on FF or the like - how much fluid you are losing each month, then if there's a problem, you have the information to give the gynae/doc.

ETA: if you are worried, you could go see them now, rather than waiting? How long have you been trying for?

I'm trying to do the less obsessive/stressed thing, and temping every day doesn't help that for me, so just want to focus on the middle bit.

Yep been using opks, first cycle only one day positive, second 3 days of varying degrees not quite getting strong enough, third about a week of faint lines, fourth I didn't use them.

Only been trying 4 months so not panicing, just want to try to learn how my cycles work as we're planning on using the rhythm method of contraception if and when I've given birth. I spoke to my doc when I was there getting my bp checked (normal to low side amazingly as I have a high bp problem) and she said it often takes 6 months for periods to be heavy or regular enough to be fertile after coming off implanon as it does a real number on your hormones if you've been on it a long time, and it takes a while for your body to learn to regulate them itself again. Which was cheery news considering I was on it as it was supposed to be an immediate return to normal method, and why I ditched the opks and thermometer last month in favour of wine and EPO! I asked her as I hoped she might be able to recommend something a bit more definate than 'patience'! I have to say I felt a lot less stressed when it wasn't the first thing on my mind every day.

That blooming game! I lost an ex to WOW. NEVER AGAIN!

I met my DH on WoW :o I do think its something you both need to be into though. It was very handy as we chatted for over a year and became best friends before I flew over and met him, and it made the dating process easier as we already knew one another and got on like a house on fire. A few people have commented its quick to get married within 2 1/2 years of first meeting, but to us we 'met' long before that, and not many people can honestly say they talked to their OH for at least 2 hours a day every day for the first year they dated - usually its about being naked all the time! Oddly enough once he moved over we both quit quite quickly, we were only really using it as a way to connect and once we had the physical person we needed to catch up on the naked part :D

Still can't get over 3 BFPs already, it's fantastic. Is this the 'club' we had last month who all got AF the same day coming back?

Thanks for this - I always have to look it up and check it once I've written it, and I'm sure I've got your name wrong in the past.

I'm really excited. I posted something for sale on gumtree a couple of days ago, and someone has replied saying they are interested. I think if they do buy it, I'm going to start creating a baby fund.

I've been very tempted recently by freecycle as they've had loads of baby things, but I've resisted as I don't want to tempt fate.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Sexymouse - good luck with your gumtree sale, I hope it goes through and you get to start your baby fund! That make me want to start a little one i.e. decorate a jar and put my pennies in it!! And if you ever did get my name wrong, dont wrory - I never noticed because I have so much trouble remembering it myself!

Kaemi - Thats a really lovely story! My DW and I married within 11 months of dating! (We were friends first though) - when you know, you know!

    Ahhhhhh.

I met my Hubby online too and know what you mean about being best friends before you even met.

I'm the kind of person who is so organised with buying things. I'm ready for Christmas halfway through the year. I'd love to get started on buying baby things but I think I'd be jinxing myself. But when I get pregnant.....

Afaik, it would be too small to have a sac big enough to see, esp as at 11dpo it would only just have started to implant, if it was going to. I think they only start showing up on a scan at 5ish weeks and the heartbeat after around 6wks. :)

You can change your name, I think - someone else I know did on here - have a play around in the CP?
