I'm ok thanks bz. Managing to find my way with carb counting and insulin. Pre conception clinic have been great, but left me under no illusions about how difficult diabetics find pregnancy! I just want to get on with it now! X0

Good morning girls:wave:
AllyS, congratulations!:j
Any SS? Did you try anything different this cycle?:)
nikolacarter, if there are absolutely no sperms then it is highly unlikely that you are pg. Though miracles can happen:cool:
Only way to be sure is to test. I know AF tends to show right after testing, but that's the only way to be sure:o
There could be something else wrong with you though, so going to the doctors on Wednesday is a very good idea.
vesper and mogwai, massive hugs for AF
Let's hope this is our month:)
apple*pie, you need to explain how conception works. Your DH may not know that we only have 24hrs to conceive/month:o
Bigzippy and Aida, hi there:wave:
TeamLowe, good luck testing on Saturday:)
Lilymay, glad your DS didn't have meningitis, but huge ((((hugs)))) for intestinal infection for the both of you:(
Get well soon:o0 -
MrsHappy, how are you? Do you have a temperature?
2ba3c, how are you? Did the CBFM LH line ever get darker?0 -
Thanks QQ - can you put me down for CD1 today as yesterday was just still spotting...soooo gutted!! Oh well, another month - am going to continue with acupuncture and concentrate on optimising DH conditions, lol
I am going to try the clearblue digital OPK and maybe conceive plus this month, and continue on my supplements..We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

my cousin was not all of the above, and I don't think it helped her tbh
you can do it though
COMP - any news for us? You don't post nearly as much as you used to either...how am I supposed to stalk you if you don't post?!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
TinksTink maybe you mixed up aida and abis? I know from mc thread abis has had a loss. Hugs to you abis if you're reading. X
Hi aida! How are you?
I love all the royal family programmes! I keep scrutinising every pic and but if footage of princess Kate for signs of pregnancy! I kind of want to be pg same time as her!
Anyway. This concludes my exciting jubilee bank holiday of bazillions of work!.
I saw princess Kate yesterday and no sign of pregnancy. She is way too slim. Usually you get bloated but she was soo slim and her waist was so tiny that I think she's out this cycle :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I hope you get pregnanat before her!
TeamLowe how long is you LP? You can test in 2 days time if you wantYour temps look really good! Good luck!
Flee Have you tested yesterday?
Lilly I'm glad your DS didn't have meningitis.
QQ I'm still here keeping an eye on everyone
mogwai Hugs.:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -
My cousin went through 2 pregnancies whilst diabetic. I know she had issues thorough it, but I also know they kept a good eye on her. If you're sensible, do what you're supposed to, and in the best physical health (incl weight bracket) you can be, then I think you'll do just fine
my cousin was not all of the above, and I don't think it helped her tbh

COMP - any news for us? You don't post nearly as much as you used to either...how am I supposed to stalk you if you don't post?!
I have my hba1c (blood glucose reading over 3 months) below 7, which is recommended safe limit for pregnancy) and my bmi is 21 so that's ok. Ttc has been a good incentive to reach the level of control I have tbh! Clinic v pleased with me!
It was explained that baby will make insulin after 1st tri even though I don't so if my blood sugar is high, baby makes more insulin to lower it, and as insulin is a growth hormone, baby can then grow too big. Blood sugar must be under very tight control throughout pregnancy, non diabetic is 4 to 7. My reading at time of mc was around 12 then 39 at diagnosis!!!!
On the plus side, WHEN I do get pg, I get scans every fortnight in third tri!! Find the positives where you can! X0
