Tink, I have a lovely of image of you wearing frilly pinnies and spending your days baking and sewing... I wish I was a lovely housewifely type. I'm useless! I can make cards though... think OH would prefer it if I baked!
Thanks for reminding me about the Carnation site, I love the recipes on there! I've made the caramel swirl brownies before and they were scrummy (although I did manage to burn the outside whilst the inside was still a little underdone. I really need to practice more!)
Hugs for CD1 Lily, and hugs for Lemonmelon and Walby. I'm sad to see you both back here.
I have agreed to go to Go Ape at the end of June on my friend's Hen weekend, was hoping I'd be PG by then so I could get out of doing it but no such luck (since I probably won't OV until the middle of June so at best I'll be in the 2ww, at worst I'll get AF just in time for going!). So I've got no excuse for staying safe on the ground... I'm going to be so scared! I'm getting really upset at the thought that I might not be PG by her wedding in August, that's only 2 of my stupid cycles away and I thought I'd have a lovely bump by then rather than a sinking feeling that there's something wrong.
Bit of PMA though... it's my birthday party on Saturday and I'm going to go shopping for red, white and blue drinks and snacks tonight/tomorrow! No idea what I'll find in those colours!I've got some cool union jack bunting to hang up... but it's not as fancy as Tink's, mine's from M&S!
It's also market day today so I might get some flowers to cheer me up too.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Hugs Lilymay. Expecting it doesn't really make it any easier to cope with does it.
Birdie85 - Go Ape is FAB. Honestly, its not scary at all. You just have to go for it and you start realising how safe you are. Have fun shopping! I keep visualising myself with a bump but it changes depending on how far through the year we are. Now, I'd like to have a samll one by Xmas! I was thinking about that today!0 -
Hi ladies,
Thanks for the welcome back! Yes, it is crappy reasons to be back but I am ok now and feeling positive (at first I thought I must have done something wrong but now I have accepted that unfortunately it is just one of those things). Plus, it was lovely to see how much everyone cared about DH and I. Anyway, onwards and upwards! As someone previously said - there is never a "right time" financially to have children and DH and I have "spare" money each money to throw at the debt so I am not at all worried about struggling (even on Mat pay or part-time after baby is born).
Hugs to LemonMelon for your loss and to Lily for CD1.
Birdie - GoApe is great! I went for my hen do - some bits are a little scary at first but you just have to go with it because it is great fun once you let go of your inhibitions.

Hi all and hugs to those who need them. Actually, hugs all round because TTC can be a stressful process and we all want a hug at times.
CD 11 and my temperature has shifted this morning. so I may have oved yesterday. Maybe not though, as I'm still getting to know my body! Last cycle was CD12 so not impossible I suppose. We did BD last night but probably won't again until Saturday at the earliest so fingers crossed.
xDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
(((hugs))) for CD1 lilymay
TTC is right old rollercoaster and cd1 is always horrible, expected or not! Please have a big cry and a load of chocolate and make sure your DH gives you a big cuddle instead of playing on the xbox! We are all here to support each other, so hope you feel supported and hugged by us all. Time for the dodgy group hug methinks....:grouphug:
Having an AWFUL day at work today with my nightmare bossWhich makes not being pg even harder!! I was all chilled out and relaxed this month as we are not ttc properly again until next cycle, but then a hideous day in the office makes things much worse
So, I am going to go and inhale a bit more of my Easter chocolate stash......0 -
CD1 - expected but I still just want to cry.
You will catch it next month:o

We tried to put it back in in May, but my natural hormones were not good enough for their exacting standards, so I'm now on medicated egg transfer cycle starting on the 25th May (CD1).
The egg should be back in me sometime in the middle of June if all goes wellclearing_out_my_pockets wrote: »CD 11 and my temperature has shifted this morning. so I may have oved yesterday.
