OOOOO goodluck Skint! When I had a positive test in my first pregnancy, it looked like a negetive at first, even told OH it was - (we weren't together at the time so he p**sed off), it wasn't later when I broke it open that there was a clear as day line. Was a bit embarrassed to expain to OH that it was + all along.
Day 18 in the vesper household and after jinxing myself with wanting an early OV, there is still no sign of OV. Although getting more EWCM last night so maybe it's on its way. Grrrrr, now OH is back at work this week. But thanks for all of your advice the other day about dtd. Obviously cute babies yesterday set OH off, and we had no problems at all. Maybe bribing him with mini celebrations worked.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
oh lordy lou, another couple who got married after me who have just announced a healthy scan on FB!
what is with people, do they not know they have to wait their turn? i was here first!! :rotfl:x x
yup I've had 2 of them in the last week. In truth every single one of my friends that have babies have been together with their partners a lot less that me and my hubbie.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
CD7 here and not really a lot to add to the thread, other than to say good luck to skintchick.
Also QQ, after Saturday I will be away on 'conceptionmoon' for a week so it'll look like I'm 'awaiting ovulation' on your list for quite some time. If I can access the free wifi in our hotel on DH's tablet I'll update on fertility friend while I'm away. If not, I'll update when I'm back (when I'm hopefully in the 2ww)Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Good luck Skintchick.Morning all,
CD11 here just waiting for ewcm to come which is taking its time but I think its on its way..
Welcome claretgirl!
LOL at lilymay:
I did raise an eyebrow at that til I read back TTCs post. I thought she had been pushed to desperate measures!
Too late for acupuncture this month as Ov is round the corner but Im going to start looking into it this week so I can be ready for the next cycle if I need it! (Fx I wont!)
:rotfl:It would just be me & OH in the bedroom!claretsgirl wrote: »Hello again. Many thanks for the lovely welcomes. QQ, I'm 39 and I'm currently 10DPO. Dont think its gonna happen for me this month. May have to go down the OP route but I was hoping to stay relaxed about this. I think its cos it feels like time is running out for me. X
You might want to look into what your PCT offers for fertility support - where I am, it stops at 40. Might influence how long you wait before seeing GP.
AFM - after the good news getting the HSG on the day of asking (Thursday), not such good news on the results. Had a message from FS's secretary today to say that both tubes are blocked & I need to make an appointment with FS to discuss options.
I don't know any more detail than that, appt with FS booked for Saturday.
Just off for accupuncture now - which was already booked in. It's not going help though if tubes are blocked!
When I get back from the appointment I will be reading up on blocked tubes!0 -

Could be worse - my cousin hadn't met the father of her one month old baby when I got married...... last May :eek:Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Never been to NZ, closest was Australia:)I can not wait for our holiday, but I am a little worried about spending so much time on a plane with a 17 month old, although DS is so chilled and happy.Obviously cute babies yesterday set OH off, and we had no problems at all. Have a wonderful conceptionmoon:wave:Had a message from FS's secretary today to say that both tubes are blocked & I need to make an appointment with FS to discuss options.
My mum's was blocked after a stillbirth (of her 2nd baby), and it had to be unblocked. After that I was born pretty quickly:)I don't know any more detail than that, appt with FS booked for Saturday.Just off for accupuncture now - which was already booked in. Thank you. He is very hopeful and apparently they are looking to fill 5 positions. The job is for an unnamed postal service of the royal varietyso the hours would fit in really well with us and childcare.
Off the back of Skints good news, i rechecked all my old tests. Shouldn't have bothered.....! I thought i saw a very faint line, but OH has assured me it isnt there. I did a second first response to check and that was most definitely negative. *sigh*
On a positive note, we had a lovely day at the beach. Baby, dog and OH all loved it14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
TTC40 - just popping on to say try not to worry to much and hope you get to see fs quickly so don't have to wait too long. If they can unblock tube/s then there should be no reason you can't get pg after. Hugs. Sure there are ladies over on 12month+ thread who have had tube unblocked. When fs spoke to me about having hsg she said regardless of whether tubes are blocked or not she will refer me for private ivf and so they must be able to do something.0
