Back from hospital! It's good news! I managed to get away with an external ultrasound in the end. You could just about see a tiny flutter on the screen when she magnified it. According to the size, I am 6 weeks today, so she said they wouldn't have been able to detect anything on Friday as it would have been too early. She scanned my ovaries etc to see if she could see anything that could have caused any problems, and she said everything looks normal, so that's good too. :) Thank you all for all of your support!:j
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Yayyyyyy sexymouse :j:j:j:j Super news! Must have been good to have an early glimse at your lovely little bean as well (once the panick and worry had gone!)

My cat has been to the vets and is v poorly :( Bad infection and dangerously high temp they said. They gave her antibiotic & anti inflamitory shots and want her back in the morning to check over again to see if her temp is coming down as its so high :( Poor little girl.

Hugs for those ladies on CD1. Hope you are all doing ok.

Aww poor puddy Abi - I hope she responds well to the antibiotics.

Yes it was nice to see my bean for the first time, and it was nice for my Mum to be there too, as when scans were done when I was born, you couldn't see very much even at 20 weeks! Bean just looks like a blob, with a slight white flicker in the middle - the main thing you can see this early is the egg sac.

I'm off out to have a decaff coffee with a heavily pregnant friend now, so wondering whether I should tell her or let her wait til 12 weeks like she did with me.
