nothing from me.. still no af and cd32, this could be good but i'm starting to feel a bit pre-menstrual now. sigh. it's only been 3 months tyring but feels like forever! DH has 2 girls from previous relationships so am worried i am the problem :o

I was looking at Ebay/Amazon last night at OPK's and HPTs. Could anyody recommend a seller? There seem to be lots to choose from.
Only 60% of couples fall pregnant within six months, nowhere time to worry just yet :o

  • abis- no, I was on the pill when I was younger but came off when I was about 19, should have started trying then, lol. I dont really know my usual cycle but i'm pretty sure cd32 is pretty long for me, I always thought I was 28 days, or maybe I just assumed? Who knows.

DH has his driving test 1st March, very exciting. But then we have to take on all the extra costs that cars bring, not looking forward to that part!! Your poor cat, what is wrong with her? We have 2 cats, we were told they were girls but are actually boys! However they wont answer to anything different from Poppy or Daisy so the vets have a right old giggle when we take them in!
  • Sorry TeamLowe, I don't mean to be a whinger but you just assume you're going to fall pregnant the first time you think about it, you dont realise how long it can take.

Dont mean to rub it in to everybody who has been trying longer then us, I will shut up now :silenced:

I've been averaging at 31/32 days since coming off the pill - but I've been on it for 14 years now apart from the break while I had my DD - eeeekkkk  I feel so old, lol! I will be CD33 tomorrow, but then it might still be my body adjusting to the pill. Fingers crossed for BFP in the morning tho :D

Haha, my DH would put you off the costs of cars with his bad mood when they break. Tis very exciting having your own car tho. I sold mine in September to save money as I rarely used it. I still miss not having it sat outside tho for just in case I wanted to use it :rotfl:

Think she has tummy troubles :( She won't eat and won't come down other than to use the litter tray. Shes normally so playful and is a huge fuss pot who gets under your feet and is alllwwwwaaayyyys hungry and today she hasn't eaten a thing :( She is enjoying being stroked when I go and see her I think, but she isn't purring like she normally would. :(

Haha, love their names! We had 2 cats, both from the RSPCA. Got the first one (a boy) and my daughter named him mouse. :rotfl: He didn't settle at all well in our house and as soon as he was let outside a couple of weeks later he ran off. We waited a few months before getting another cat - this time a girl. And my DD insisted that the new cat be named mouse (or mousie as she is usually called) :rotfl::rotfl: Male mousie then got returned to us as he was chipped, so we had a boy mouse and a girl mouse for a couple of weeks!! And then boy mouse left again as he just didn't like it here. He'd always been a stray I think and feels very uncomfortable being inside and some people a couple of streets away now 'own' him and feed him. The vets must think we're crackers as when male mouse was returned to us, they said they had my cat called mouse there and I had to ask what colour it was, lol!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • How confusing! I do wonder what cats think of us humans, i talk to ours like complete babies and they just stare at me like, "what is she on about????" I hope yours gets better soon, maybe shes just having a duvet day xx

Evening all, hope everyone has had a good weekend - hugs to all that need them.

Sexymouse - hope everything goes well tomorrow. Try not to worry too much. I got fairly heavy bleeding with my 1st and got an early scan at 6+4. All was well and docs said sometimes the bleeding is from the vagina rather than the womb, like a blood vessel if that makes sense.

Nothing to report from me. No ov signs again so I am wondering more than ever if I am ovulating. I get nothing, no twinges, no ewcm, no cramps at AF time. Symptomless! If nothing has happened in another month or two I will think about OPK's etc. xx

Hi bigzippy, TTC40 & skintchick - i'm trying not to get too obsessed with it all as don't want to scare DH! I can normally recognise when I am ov as I always notice EWCM so try to BD a lot around that time but we can only really manage every other day for about 6 days so about 2-3 times during ov then maybe once or twice either side? so not much BD'ing going on :o

I don't track my cycles at all though so may start slowly, ease myself in ;) When AF arrives I will count that as CD1 (is that right?) and then when I start noticing EWCM does that count as 1dpo?

I have looked at SMEP and it's seemed like a good idea the past 3 months, we start well but it tails off, I wish we had a more regular BD pattern but it just doesnt seem to happen, as soon as my head hits the pilow i'm out like a light. Maybe we need to try more exciting ventures :D

I'm down South in Hampshire waiting for the snow, no sign yet though, hoping i'll get snowed in so no work for me tomorrow, don't see it happening though! x

I SMEP and I just tell Oh we have to do it! Sometimes neither of us really wants to :o but we force ourselves lol.

I've had a tiny bit of spotting tonight at 7 dpo and am trying hard not to get my hopes too high. I had some IB on 6 dpo last time round, but not as far as I can remember with any of the other pregnancies. Lots of other possible symptoms too but am trying to be good and not let my mind run too far ahead. Next week is going to crawl past though.

How exciting! I really hope this is your month.

    morning all

I havent been properly for the last few days and cant beleive how many bfp we have already, congrats :j

AF is due on 9th, i stupidly tested yesterday (idiot) and it was negative. I know i could still be in the game but i'm dont think it will happen this month, not enough BD ( OH was annoying me, and as much as we needed to BD, i was being stubborn)

i think next month i'm just going to do it try and BD throughout the month, as the date thing hasnt been working for me properly. when i've previously got pg, we had only bd 2-3 throughout the month and got caught straight way, so really dishearting when we are trying so much and its not happening (I know its only 2 months). Its starting to make me think something is wrong after the MC:(
I know how you feel, it is hard when you have previously got pg easily and then it takes longer. My mc was November too, and II feel my cycle is only just back to normal, I'm convinced I didn;t ovulate before this month. I think our bodies sometimes take longer to bounce back. I know that for me after having two pregnancies last year, my poor body was just all confused.

    Morning all,

Had some spotting and pains on Friday night, and out of hours doctor told me to go to A&E. They've taken lots of blood (4 vials), and I've got an early scan tomorrow at 11.45am to check everything is ok. Spotting and pain have stopped, but I'm obviously still worried. Moon is away on business Monday and Tuesday, so hopefully my Mum will be able to come, but my Nana also had a fall on Friday morning, so she's been busy looking after her. Luckily Nana is ok (just a bruised elbow and a bit shaken), and it's prompted social services to take my Mum's requests for extra help seriously - a rehab team are now involved. Please could everyone keep your fingers crossed for us? I was only 6 weeks on Thursday.

    sexymouse xx

Oh Sexymouse! I hope all is well, Huge hugs. If you want to PM me please do. IT is so scary when you bleed, let's hope it's nothing and baby is fine.

    Has anyone done the SMEP?
Told OH that we will do it and he has started trying to fit as much sex in as possible before I make him wait a day until I ovulate. Going to start it from CD10 (tomorrow) and see what happens.

Just a quick question though, when you have your last sex after ovulation, do you have no sex during the 2 week wait?

Erm, we don't cos SMEP is more sex in a month than we can handle anyway!
    Nicki wrote: »
Well that is definitely wrong! The plan itself says that your OH has to "discharge" his old ones at least once between last day of SMEP and Day 8 of new one!

Oops! I can;t handle more sex, he will have to DIY! :rotfl:

I'm still ill, we had snow and OH and DD made a snowman. She insisted he had a carrot for a nose so one of my veggies is currently outside doing conk duty! She hated the snow when she was tiny, but loves it this year - she was making snowballs with her bare hands!

Sorry I didn't mean to sound dismissive! It's hard when AF keeps coming no matter what you do. Have you watched The Great Sperm Race? I found it really reassuring in a way, just shows how hard it is for eggs to get fertilised so it really is a miracle when it happens :o

Good luck Nicki, fingers crossed for you x x

Cough syrup has started, least it's cherry flavoured  and we had fab BDing last night so maybe it's helping already :D x x

Well, no AF this morning still, but a BFN this morning too. :o Suppose it might be my cycles still getting levelled out after coming off the pill 3 months ago, but I'm estimating 1-2 days past my due date.

Gonna buy a clear blue test and test again on wednesday if still no sign of AF. Can't help but think clear blue tests are better than IC's for some reason :o Probably just wishful thinking tho :rotfl:

Cat is still poorly and hasn't eaten in over 24 hours. Might be up to 48 hours now :( She is booked in at the vets at 10.30 tho, so will have to get a taxi and take it from there. She is purring now tho when you stroke her so thats an improvement.

DH struggled this morning with the snow getting out the street - made worse with the known problems on his car. He came in after getting stuck at one point and had a big stressy meltdown! Between him and the cat I think they are doing their best to try and keep my mind off AF - but perhaps not in the way I would prefer :rotfl:

Oooo, Teamlowe - I saw the great sperm race. Found it fascinating! And such a miracle when it does happen :smileyhea

Fingers are still crossed for sexymouse for the scan today. Big hugs.
