ive never watched obem before for obvious reasons that it would be too upsetting but oh went to bed and ive heard good things from people about obem and thought i would give it a try and be brave, so once he had gone to bed i put it on secretly( knowing that he would tell me off for watching something that will make me feel sad)
omg! really freaked out and spent the last 15-20 minutes of it crying ,what a rollercoaster of emotions felt like i was willing for her to just push! ive just watched it on +1 couldnt believe that last woman and that baby, probably wasnt a good idea now to watch it. and the prog about mothers afterwards is a bit weird for me.. placenta..?
as bad as it sounds i know its only natural and how babys are born but im glad i didnt have to bd tonight it probably would have put me off and i know it would have def put oh off as well. can we have them delivered by a stork through the letterbox instead?0 -
Evening guys.
Huge hugs Colli so sorry to hear of your loss. x
I watched OBEM with my OH, it's set in the LGI which is the hospital I was born in, and spent a hell of a lot of time in over the last few years. Also one of my friends might be appearing on it, they don't find out until a week before each show if they are on it or not, but if not she gets a dvd of footage anyway. I also think it's quite educational for my OH to watch as he asks me questions like why is she in that position does it make it easier etc which I think are all good things for him to know, he has also learnt what to not say or do lest he encounter what I call Labour Rage which I assure he will not enjoy lol.
Temping isn't going too bad this month, I'm trying to be as accurate and consistent as possible, I have also started to see a pattern in some of the temps which is a good thing.
Have my SIL, BIL and their 2 children (aged 18 and 16, so not really children) coming up North at the weekend because of MIL so they are coming to visit and check she is ok, I've never met any of them so am a bit nervous but i bet my MIL will be chuffed to see them as they live in Bath so she doesn't see them very often maybe every 2 years or so (Its a surprise too so she doesn't know yet) I've said one of the kids can stay with us so the 18 year old lad will be staying at ours, no doubt my OH will keep him entertained on xbox or with the car or whatever else men do together....You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

OBEM just makes me even more broody. Doesn't put me off at all. My mate was giving me all the gory details of pregnancy and birth earlier and thought I was mad, as I was just smiling 'Bring it on' I say.
Luckily I wasn't yelling at OBEM as much as last week. Although the fashion bloke annoyed me a little, until when she was in established labour and then he was so lovely and supportive. Awwww.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Well AF has arrived 3 days early, not happy at all. Spent most of the journey in crying.
I think i'm more upset as with my previous 2 PG it happened straight away, with my first cycle, so assumed(hoped) it would be the same.
Maybe its because of the MC it will take longerMummy to Isabella - March 2008 and Daisie - September 2012:A - November 2011 (mc)0 -
Huge hugs Snowy, can you treat yourself to something later to cheer yourself up , chocolate/wine. It's horrible when you get your hopes up and af turns up. Don't give up, try to keep positive for the cycle ahead.0

We managed to BD last night, hurrah! Was hard work though, we're just not good at mid-week BDing unless we're on holiday! I was getting so cross about it though I refused to give in!
Thanks for the link to the Clearblue study Gorky, filled in my details, fingers crossed they'll pick me
Kitten_Pie, how on earth did you manage to wash your hair in urine?! And what did you tell people when your hair went ginger?! :rotfl:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
