Ewww, I really could have done without reading about poo-flingers first thing this morning! ;)

Typically we were too tired to BD last night, OH just did not get the hint when I kept saying that we should nip off to bed early so when we actually went to bed all we could do was sleep! We must BD tonight! :o

My DH has done that in the past - hes told me since that he doesnt get hints I need to ask him to BD and he'll be upstairs pronto :rotfl: so now i do!

that's great that DH is on board (or wasn't listening... I frequently use the 'I did tell you but you weren't listening' line as more often than not it's true...).

This will be my first month using OPKs too.. now, what to pee into?! :rotfl: Might add disposable plastic cups to the shopping list (do you think I should find a male checkout assistant so that any TTC females won't give me strange knowing looks when cough medicine, evening primrose oil and plastic cups go through the till??)

I just use those plastic cups that come with clothes washing liquid. I dont think im talented enough to use a shot glass :)

OMG! I didn't read the quote above this, and thought you were still talking about mooncups! Got quite a shock :rotfl:

I'm desparately trying not to ss at 9dpo but just come back from lunch with OH and my DS, and we went to the same cafe we went to just before I got my last BFP, and like before I found the coffee completely undrinkable, even though its usually quite good there. I suspect knowing my luck, that its just a case of a new person making it today or something though.

Hope it's the fates telling you something, not just a rubbish coffee-maker! :)

I just read the telegraph article. What's the difference between pregnacare original and pregnacare conception? Apart from the price? Original is £4 for 30 tablets, conception is £10. I never paid attention to the conception one as the original says that it's good for conceiving as well?
I just get the original ones, as it's :money:
    OK I believe you:D

I'm hoping one of your knowledgeable ladies can help me. If I remember correctly, we're not supposed to take NSAIDs when TTC. Is that right? It so, is that throughout the month or just around ov?

I'm in soooooo much endo pain this afternoon I could just lie on the floor and cry.:( Am stuck at work for another few hours and it hurts to breathe. Have taken all the co-codamol I can but nothing's helping. I usually have some emergency ibuprofen in my bag but I don't seem to have it today for some reason. I really try not to take it but I may have to give in when I get home. Will that scupper my chances again, or will a couple of doses not make much difference?

Is anyone else finding the 2ww completely tedious, I cannot wait for the 22nd to roll around (AF is due then) and I will either be having a glass of wine and some pate or going loopy with excitement and wanting to do a test…what do most people do, wait until AF goes overdue by a few days or would you just test on day 1? It’s so weird being in this limbo state!

Yep. I'm due to test on 17th, and time has slowed to a complete crawl. But I am doing my best not to cave in and test early, as when I have tested early, it always turns out that I am not, but on all my successful conceptions, I have managed to hold out until AF was due, so I am being superstitious.

Most people test early to be honest, or on the day AF is due. Only a few very strong people manage to hold out until AF is late, and then usually, though not always, because they know that they personally tend not to get a strong BFP until they are late.

I am trying to think of ways to occupy myself so that I don't get too obsessive but as I am posting here, that's not working so well for me this afternoon :D

Littlezee, dilemma about your DH's test:think: It depends on one's DH, and if one is oving:p Your DH may become anxious and not perform as well as he could thus affecting this cycle, but at CD8, I'm not sure. The letter may arrive before ov:o
Well done for losing the Christmas weight:T
I think if it comes up in conversation or something, I'll tell him I've chased it. If it doesn't then I probably won't bring it up out of the blue. He's so tired at the moment, with going back to work and visiting MIL etc etc I don't want to give him more to worry about :o
I got caught out by more AF last night and was nearly for calling a new CD1 and labelling previous as glorified spotting, but it's just my silly body winding me up still :(
I have, however just worked out that (having lost another lb since yesterday, so that's 4lbs in the last few days :D) I've now lost a total of 7 BMI points! :Dscale.gifbliss.gif 6 more to go before the end of May, for FS treatment... whistling.giffingersx.gif

What CD are you? I tend to take my pain meds when I need to when AF's here/well before ov. Ibruprofen is far from ideal during pg, and can - so I heard, though I don't know how true it is - affect ov so I try and avoid that other than during AF. If it's endo pain I'm assuming AF's there?

CD6 today, so hopefully nearing the end of AF (maybe today or tomorrow). My cycles are usually at least 34 days though so a good way off ov yet (last one was 50 days). I think I'm going to have to go for ibuprofen this evening, and hope that I'm early enough in this cycle for it not to make any difference.
