Hello everyone, I just popped in to say:

    Happy New Year :)

Still no sign of AF (6 months now!) So I don't tend to follow the thread too much, as there is nothing I can do to help my fertility :( Hoping 2012 will see it return and I can once again take control of my life :)

    xxx
  • hi, i am wondering if you lovely ladies would let me join you? Im looking for some advice and hopefully to see if there is anyone is a similar position.

Bit of background on me, about 3 years ago i found out i was pregnant but i started bleeding at about 8/9 weeks and to cut a long story short it was found i had a molar pregnancy (a complete one) and i needed chemotheraphy treatment to get rid of the molar cells and bring the hcg levels down. We were told not to try again until a year had passed from the end of chemo, which we did and to be honest the physical and emotional recovery from just the chemo took me longer than that anyway.

We started trying again in august 2011, we found out i was pregnant in the sept, we were happy it had happened so quickly but worried it might be a molar again, we were given a couple of early scans and a heart beat was found and everything looked ok this time around but at about 11 weeks i started to bleed, we had a scan and they told us i had suffered a missed miscarriage, i had the d and c in november and had some sort of bleeding about 17th of december which i hope now was my period.

We had carried on trying anyway after the d and c when everything had calmed down so i am not sure if we just didnt catch or maybe no egg was released that month at all. Since my period ive been using the ovulation testing kits and combined with what little ive picked up with the charts online it looks like ovulation will be this weekend, so hopefully we will try our best and see what happens.

Ive also found out early this year that i have epilepsy, on top of everything else :) but ive spoken to my consultant and im taking folic supplements for that as well.

So just wondering if there is any one with similar experiences and if i can tag along with this thread as well

    thanks for reading

Welcome cleo - sorry to hear you've had such a stressful and sad year - I've not been in a similar position to you, but wanted to say that this thread is a great source of support for everyone who joins, so I hope you feel at home soon, and that you are quickly moving over to the pregnancy thread as you get a New Year BFP.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
