My !!!!!cat is missing at the moment, she has been gone for a week lost some 5 miles from home.
If she turns up on someones doorstep I hope they feed her and are kind to her and read the posters in the local shops and make contact with local vets and rescues. She is not Chipped and we would dearly love her back.0 -

Whilst I'm pretty sure our cat occassionally cheats on us with one of the people nearby, I know she regularly eats out at the crazy cat lady's (throws food out the door). However apparently one time she got tempted in, as I came back from a walk with the dog I heard the cries from the window, getting ever louder as we closed in. Thankfully not many people in our area lock their doors, and whilst I knocked and said "hello?" then opened the door, I got no response but the cat sprinting out and rubbing itself between the dogs legs (then rapidly coming home with us).
In truth it's just food that draws her elsewhere, the one she really loves is the dog, always has been since she adopted him as a kitten (her brother too, but as he grew older he got more proud and obviously didn't think it was good for his rep to be seen hanging out with dogs, he still comes over to say hello at times though).0 -
Well - Teddy goes for cuddles....
Looked out of the window yesterday and there was Teddy, belly up with 5 kids sitting around him on the grass (communal garden) and stroking him....
He is a massive 6kg (12lb) of a cat, such a gentle giant though - loves everyone and everyone loves him back. Everyone around here keeps an eye on him as I always worry someone will try to nick him - he is the best looking cat for miles...he comes to me when called but also goes to anyone else for cuddles, silly boy0 -

"I think it can be lucky to keep a cat that crosses your path. I believe when that happens that cat is meant for you, crazy I know but thats just my feeling"
Thank you that makes me feel good
We had lost a truly amazing dog a week before to a bone tumour & we decided we couldn't have our hearts ripped again.
Mr Pinkie turned up & as you can see he was weak, thin & poorly.
Made him a bed in bin cupboard as you couldn't touch him & fed him often.
Put up posters in vets & contacted rescue centres - no one came forward.
So first step was to get him to vets & also to be neutered. We could by this time stroke him - stupid me thought I could just pick him up & pop him in cat carrier....:rotfl:One trip to A&E for me - I was shredded..
So lovely lady from RSPCA lent us a cat trap. We started feeding him inside to get used to it.
Eventually we got him to the vets & the rest is history. Within 6 weeks he was living indoors & part of our family
I feel honoured that Mr Pinkie chose us
