Sky sports upgrade

  • Can't see a way out of this. The only thing I would say is take the movies with the sport and it will work out better (making the sport around 10/11 quid and movies the same) So for a few more quid that the £20.50 you will get both
    According to ABBA apparently it's a rich mans' world . . .:p
  • Can any one help me.

My friend needs to get a sky sports upgrade for tomorrows football. They don'y mind paying for 1 month and then cancelling.

From what I've read it seems this won't be much of a problem, however, they have the most basic sky package. They do not pay anything monthly and only have basic freeview channels.

Will they easily be able to upgrade to skysports without purchasing a sky entertainment package first?

I tried a few weeks back, I have only been with sky a few months, and they didn't offer me anything.
    May try again tonight.
You are in contract so sky has your guaranteed business, you cannot threaten to cancel or leave, there will be no offers on your account for cancellations as you are in contract, so not worth looking for discounts on current package, if anything watch the website to see what online offers are about - but that is usually for upgrading to sports/movies etc

What the heck are you talking about, this is my one and only ID, I used for work for Sky and post to help people, I don't need people accusing me of being someone/something that I am not, so be sure of what/who you are accusing before you do it, am not amused are your antics at all
  • When I rang up to cancel Sky Sports last month for the summer, they offered me a 20% discount for six months to stay. Unfortunately, it came with the condition that I had to commit to another 12 month contract so I declined. Cancelling the Sports also meant I lost my HD for £2 discount I was receiving but I didn't mind as it only had 2 more months to run.

I'm now back to the two base packages with no HD. I can live with that.
