Firstly I have to say that "silver" isn't really a great description....... It could mean a million and one different finishes.

Got a local Wilkinsons? (or similar type shop) see if they have any paint that'll match, Plastikote do all sorts. Failing that you could try a chrome finish nail polish (ebay ), I used black on the interior trim of the Westfield (on a patch of scratched anodised aluminium), it's surprisingly effective and long lasting and because it's effectively a beauty product, the finish is flawless...
