Cancelling a non cancelleable BA flight?

I booked 2 flights for my parents through OPODO flying with BA to Vegas leaving on monday 22nd Aug, My mum has broken her ankle in 3 places today and having an operation to pin it tomorrow, so wont be able to go.
I need to cancel these 2 flights and then they can claim from their insurance, but it seems the insurance company have told them they need to claim the taxes back after cancelling.
As the flights were booked on my credit card. Is it me that needs to claim the taxes back and if so who from, and who do I go to to cancel the flights BA or Opodo
Thanks

If you have the BA flight reference, go to https://www.ba.com/managemybooking and see if they will let you do it online, otherwise it may be a call to Opodo.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

I claimed the taxes back through BA.com a while ago and there was a way of claiming though manage my booking, they deducted an admin fee.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

I had to do this once. Be warned it will take 3 or 4 months to get the tax back (in my experience)0
