    hiya everyone :hello:

Sorry I've not been around but at first I was very ill and now there's more problems with my daughter.
She was home for the weekend and although we could see she was having difficulty managing herself, it went reasonably ok, then I had a call to say that she'd run away and been brought back by the police and then tried to suffocate herself with a carrier bag tied around her neck. When that failed because she was discovered, she then tried to cut her veins open again. The hospital sent a car to take me to the new hospital she's moved to for a respite which is a very swish private place in Chelsea.
Not sure how long she'll be there as there is a tribunal tomorrow because she appealed against being sectioned, so it depends on the outcome of that I think.

Soo.. as I'm sure you can imagine, I'm flippin exhausted and pretty much at the end of my tether with it all :( Not much time for being online at all really, and when I do have the time I tend to conk out and have a nap :o

Congrats on your lovely news flissy!! Welcome all the newcomers and mahooosive huggs to all of you!!

    Lots of love xxxxxxxxx

Hi Ethel,Thanks for posting.Glad you are over your illness. It was the last thing you needed at this time. It is not suprising that you are exhausted with all the stress your daughter is putting you through.I know she is ill and cannot help it but i wonder if she has any idea how her actions effect you, your son and your mum? To be honest i cannot see her winning the appeal. She has had,and is still having so many near misses that it is obvious she would not be safe out of care.I really hope someone can get through to her, that is all it could take one person it is just finding the right one.
Anyway look after yourself and you are doing the right thing by catching sleep when you can your body is still recovering from your illness and all the emotional stress will be very draining.Post when you can because we do worry when people have not posted for a while.((hug))

  • Good morning everyone :)
Let_Robinson_Sing, what exams are you doing? I'm in the middle of my 2nd year exams, and I know all about stress at the moment! Hang in there, it'll all be over before you know it.
Feeling much better today, but maybe that's because the sun has made an appearance this morning :) Have a list of things to do today that's a mile long, so I'm trying not to panic that I overslept this morning.

((((((((((hug))))))))))) Mc,Don't be scared the cowards who make abusive calls are just that cowards and all they are capable of are making silly calls. It is a little hard to comment with no details such as was it someone you know?if so you did the right thing in calling the police.I have to go to work in 20 mins so hope there is someone around for you to talk to.If not i am sure you know about the samaritans they are ALWAYS there at the end of the phone and if you have turned yours off because of the abusive calls you could use a phone box.Hang in there, read your other post and as Tiff said you are still the same mc,a great member of this thread who is always there for others and i think you were very brave to post it.
