Thanks Saz, you really are a star. Are you feeling any better now that the morning is out the way?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
CCStar wrote:Hi guys
We have been busy preparing the house for selling. We are nearly there, some more clearing out and deep cleaning the rooms. The place looks so much bigger and wish we could live less cluttered all the time. We need to find an agent to quote and get the ball rolling. The weather has stunk since new year, so been hard motivating myself to get on. This cold has knocked me for six too, I get so tired easily and need to rest often.
All this makes me sensitive and get feelings of feeling isolated and neglected from people who claim they care. I need to be considered too when I am at my lowest ebb. I willingly give a lot of tlc to people but I am human too and it hurts when I feel people don't acknowledge me when I feel very low.
FG - You have been doing well, losing weight and so many days not drinking and smoking. I haven't lost any weight and been comfort eating so much over the last few weeks. Cleaning and clearing a house is very tiring.
I haven't read back what has been bothering you but you seemed to be moving forward last time I read. What do you think is your 'blockage', that, by your own admission, is holding you back?
Having a day to cry, sit in your nighty and do some comfort eating isn't too harmful, if it helps, so long as it is only one day, two at the most. There is no law to say you have to do housework every day.
(((Big hugs)))
Hi CC. The weather has been dire - and I think that does play a large part in how people cope with things. Sounds like you've got loads done, fingers crossed the sale goes through soon. Sx4 May 20100 -

Is just nice to post sometimes, even if I don't actually say much. just nice to know that someone is there - feel alone an awful lot of the time - sometimes its good to know that someone is there reading. What time do you get to go home?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Just wanted to say hello.
Made a huge pot of pea and ham soup in the slow cooker - chicken casserole is in the oven and DD helped me clear out a huge set of three kitchen cupboards and sort it out so I can find stuff.
DD (13) will probably send me out for cookery ingredients when she gets home but orher than that I am going to take it easy if I can.
We seem to have spent the last three days in non stop activity so it will be a relief to calm down.
Hugs to everybody."This site is addictive!"

Sheffield were always very accomodating to me for deferments on Medical grounds. I have several years deferment. Unfortunately, the course was one of the things causing me major health issues so I had to drop out
thanks blinky.. I'll ask my personal tutor and see what she says, but at the start of term I had an interview with the Dean and asked him if things went wrong again and I needed time off how woud it be received and to be honest he wasn't keen. Also I think the LEA now limits how many extra years you can do that they will give loans for
On the plus side.. I've arranged for us to have a cleaner twice a week...... she's coming on wednesday to blitz the house for 6 hours and then 2 hours on mondays and thursdays after that.
Also arranged for the cat to be debollocked - he's off to the vet's on monday, lol
I think a lot of the reason for my descent into misery has been my arm.. I'm in almost constant pain with it - sometimes worse than others and it wears you down cos I can't sleep properly and the painkillers upset my stomach etc et etc.☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

Can the doc not give you a different painkilling regime hun, if those don't agree with you and/or don't work? Sx4 May 20100 -

Hi elona :hello: Sounds like you've had a fairly productive day, so you're more than entitled to a bit of a break. Soup sounds good:) Big hugs, Sazxxx4 May 20100 -
